Yeah I'm convinced he's actually gone to Firelands and js the current Firelord probably. I'm curious if it's Shadowflame Fyrakk that has gone there as well.

Killing a fire lord outside of the firelands just sends them back to the firelands so Smolderon should have already been back home by the time his body was absorbed.

TBF the capital doesn't need to be on top of the tree.

Regardless, if the tree stays on the dragon isles which it sounds like it will, then it's completely useless. First it's not even it's own zone, 2nd its not a capital city. Actually useless. They had 2 years of people telling them where they wanted the new tree to be and they couldn't give a rats ass.

Yeah, I don't see how this is going to help the night elves at all, given that was the reason those nigtht elves sacrificed their "immortal" souls to make it. If they put it on the plains it would literally put it into centaur territiory, I doubt they'd take kindly to the nelfs claiming part of their land. Even if they put it somewhere near the ocean , it would hardly make for a great place to live for their still homeless people. I'm not even a fan of nelfs but I'm starting to get annoyed by how much they get abused...

Like someone said, it's very similar to the Emerald Dream, but without the northern fire parts, and no Eye of Ysera. The requirements is to kill Fyrakk on normal or higher then finish all 7 Emerald Dream Chapters.

This isn't a troll account. I wanted to make this because there is an unnecessary amount of secrecy around something currently in the game that no one bothered datamining. After you kill Fyrakk a quest shows up near the raid portal entrance if you completed the previous 6 chapters.

Given the post-raid comments by Ebyssian about Fyrakk and a specific mini-cinematic of Fyrakk eating Smolderon along with there being zero focus on his death, did he become the new Firelord or did Blizz just kinda forget about the raid's end boss while they were making their (already datamined) reverse Cataclysm ending?

Tyr created myself and my brethren to watch over these Isles. It was my duty to reactivate the Beacon of Tyrhold. When the opportunity to reawaken Tyr arose, I thought it my duty as well. Yet... I do not like to see him this way. Uncertain. Searching. Perhaps I am a watcher no longer. Perhaps now, I may serve as guide.

After clicking on Koranos that stands by revived Tyr. There's also "Stay a while and listen" (most likely a cutscene), but it didn't launch for the guy who posted on it.
