A longer-than-usual communications pause after a poorly received patch is not a great look, but considering that the 10.2.7 stuff is ALREADY IN THE FILES (or at least a good portion: Timerunning and the heritage quest NPCs are in 10.2.5) and not 10.2.6, they must be banking that the contents are worth the dip.
So when do we start talking about how the big Microsoft/Xbox news will impact WoW? Will it at all?

Where this patch was "poorly received"? In Asmongold comment section?
But yeah, all these teasing for minor patch is starting to be ridicolous. Maybe I'll eat my words, but I don't think it can be something grand either, window for PTR is geting smaller every week since we expect patch mid/late March. And looking at Diablo 4, I don't want WoW ever to drop PTR phase.

While follower dungeons are indeed good tech, and dragonriding in the old world is great, the main gameplay features of the patch (Epilogue and Gilneas) were lambasted for being either too short and/or poor quality. Also the patch is riddled with bugs.
It is easily the worst-received patch this expansion.
surely tomorrow we get some stealth news that they omitted from this week in wow

I speculate that they must do something with the 3 day early access fiasco. It's an ethical barrier for a lot of people and it must be addressed one way or another officially (if it's not just silently removed from the packages).
I personally am on the fence if I will even play so for people like myself it's a real deciding factor because it's that little thing that pushes over the edge in feeling this is an unethical business that doesn't need support.
?
If they add a zone with 10.2.6 it will still be relevant for the last months of season 3 aswell as the whole of season 4, basically making it a timeless isle 2.0.

What fiasco? The early access is fine lol, it would be a bigger shitshow if they revert it.
So, no 10.2.6. PTR for the first phase of it, confirmed.
The idea that they will be able to provide a better story within 18 months is still the most crackpot thing I've ever seen from marketing. Just market game features and game content instead of caring about the story.
The story sucking will continue no matter what due to the squeezed 18 month timeline. I am baffled that they keep thinking that this Saga is marketable, it will flop when the crunch and lack of major patches will make it obscenely clear how clownish of a marketing push this is.
Ion telling us that the story didn't matter at the end of The War Within is going to backfire so hard when he has to make that as a statement to explain their decisionmaking on the Story and the lack of major patches.
Also lol at still not being transparent with your community about what happened with 10.2 and Dragonflight and just continuing wibbly wobblying about how everythings' great.![]()

I no longer reply to quotations beyond if you're asking a genuine question or have a non-confrontational stance.
maybe it will be Retail/Classic collection integration or something like that? We did see the "Bugs" of the Arborwyrm mount and some other REtail only things appearing in Classic as well.
