Bit off topic but I just went to IF and heard the "new" winter veil theme and it's pretty nice.

I'm not going to expect much from the Pirate flag stuff in 10.2.6... Though it is the starting point for Season 4, so I'm betting it'll be the next "Open World Event" (OWE) that we'll likely expect from DF.. because there always has to be an OWE every patch no matter how minor it is.

This is pretty interesting. Apparently Timerunning has files saying that it will be a "Timewalking Season" and files for the entirety of the Pandaria story/questline.
If they're actually doing the storyline, some people are going to throw a fit because they forgot how integral Horde vs Alliance was back then lmao.
Still, bringing back a way to have quests be relevant again is unique. And hopefully the rewards that come with it are cool.
Still wanting them to redo challenge modes with M+ and give out those recoloured CM sets that have been rotting in the game files for a decade. I need the red paladin set.
I really hope Timerunning brings back the cloak quest. I'm ok with people learning them as well (though I'd love for them to KEEP the BG requirement).
Yeah, I come back to MoP near end and couldn't finish legendary quest before it was removed (some valor hard cap while there was valor quest, today community would crucify Blizz for that xD) and still have no access to Ordos. And removing quest make even less sense then removing legendary, both in MoP and WoD it was important piece of story.
But my biggest hope towards old content is bringing back pre Cata to retail some day, especially if future era seasons will add some content here and there. Not as some efficient piece of content to level, simply as place to hang out.
But how different would this be from Chromie Time? Kinda sounds like Chromie Time for max levels though, which is something I've wanted for ages. But the "season" thing annoys me. If they're going to bring this to the game just keep it an option forever. I don't see why it has to be something they turn on and off.
Maybe Timerunning can run a test to see how community reacts to having a rotator raid going alongside main raid for another alternate content/gearing option for less M+-enjoying PVE players. Using TWW as an example, they could have the main raid every week then have the 3 WoD raids rotate with gearing up to heroic level or done similarly to the TW week raids (box = heroic, raid = champion(normal))
I've been wanting them to expand on Timewalking for years, so them bringing back more of the older raids, maybe having them all live during a Timerunning week or something, and giving us an actual reason to do them after a decade of walking in and just killing all the bosses with a single button to collect the transmog.
Being able to run Throne of Thunder again on the regular and get a recolour of the tier set, and maybe some recolours on the mounts would be massive and add a lot to do, especially for people with alts.
Same thing with challenge modes.
The recolours already exist in the game files for the sets, and putting a new colour of the bird up wouldn't be difficult either.
The way raids are currently set up just isn't enticing or fun. Like, yay. Glaive mog. And badges. Okay. Not worth my time after I get the single perk from doing one raid.
Modernizing and incentivizing older content that's been left to rot for so long with some new shinies to chase you need a group for, but the difficulty isn't very high (LFR / Normal), feels like good comfy content that could last for several event cycles, or even years for collectors.
Timerunning literally sounds like something from the April Fools post. Exact type of humour.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
Timewalking raids could desperately do with something that makes it more akin to how Timewalking M+ led the way into rotating dungeons per season.
Ideally I would argue for a Timewalking raid being picked every half season to be the dedicated "progression" raid. Mostly for easy loot, but also as an excuse to have more varied rewards overall.
The world revamp dream will never die!
Blizzard's up to something in the Exodar. Bunch of "unknown" NPCs but clearly are ones we know including Hatuun and Arzaal. Likely seeding for the heritage armor questline, I would guess, but that's also not due until late Spring on the roadmap so it is surprising to see something being set up already.
I do like the breadcrumbs for the Draenei as of late too, it is a nice leadup to whatever is going on.

I'm betting that Timerunning will be a leveling speedrun challenge of sorts..... We've seen people speedrun through zones just to reach max level, so I guess it makes sense to make it into a mini-game to see who can be the fastest to "complete a zone."
