Solo content, to me, isn't the same thing an any actual solo mode. The game's had solo content since its inception, hell that was a major advantage WoW had over MMOs like Everquest. A solo mode would need a whole bunch of adjustments to not just be a really bad RPG.
But yes, you're probably right that other studios would have to leverage those IPs. Will it happen? Who knows, Blizzard might be protective internally and successfully argue that to be unnecessary. Microsoft might not see the potential we see. But if single-player games using Blizzard IPs happen they would probably be made by other studios indeed. And then they stop being truly Blizzard IPs, which would mark the end of an era for sure. But if it means good games set in the Warcraft or Starcraft universes, I'd be glad for the sacrifice to be made.

The internet: where to every action is opposed an unequal overreaction.

Exactly, but the only reason why I don't think Alleria will turn evil is because of the horrific visions scenario, where Turalyon died to Alleria at the steps of the Cathedral and she became the "final boss" of that scenario.
Horrific visions aren't meant to be a prophecy of whats to come, but rather a possibility of what could happen if N'zoth succeeded. With Xal'atath on board now, she'll act as Alleria's opposite to gain more power and do where N'zoth failed. If Midnight is where we will deal with the Void "for good" then Turalyon and the forces of the Light will not have anything to hold back.
No, i don't think these three will be bosses. I mean they fall to the void, and get moved away, we will fight the other bosses of TWW and see the three again in Midnight. Not necessary as bosses.

Here i can see the difference between darkness forced upon him (domination), and accepting his own darkness to do good. This is a common theme for dark power users in other media. Using the darkness for the good instead of succumbing to the darkness.

Gazlowe has no association with void or shadow in any way. He doesn't fit here, and he is not a cover character.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
It will be sad if we get alpha in the last days of May. This means that we will get everything at the very end.
Although I'm already a little upset because there’s nothing interesting besides Hallowfall.

So you're going full mask-off, huh? You are no longer even pretending that you care about WC3 HoNoRaBlE Horde anymore? You just admit, full mask-off, that you want the Alliance destroyed?
Not surprised. You are all the same. Outwardly you pretend like you want the WC3 Honorable Horde, but in reality you want the Alliance to be destroyed.
When I said that? That AlLiAnCe DeStrOeD?
I only said that Alliance need more villians to not feeling that goody good and being so boring as they are now. And to match Horde in that.
Horde didn't destroyed when leaders and minor characters villian-bated at masse, Alliance is save too. And your point that 2 characters (minor ones) got villian-bated is hilarious when you compare it with number of Horde ones.
And for your first part - its you who going full mask-off as Alliance hard fan. Neutrality my ass.
Generalization as your best friend fail you this time also.

No one picked the Alliance to be the Bad Guy.
No one playing the Alliance is interested in being the Bad Guy.
If you want to be the Bad Guy, you don't pick this faction:
Literally no one who is a true Alliance fan wants to be the Bad Guy, or they would not have chosen the Alliance in the first place.
Enough said.
Isn't 10.2.6 just going to drop? I don't think we're going to get any warning / news.
