Writer of Gilneas quest chain really don't know lore. Before writing quest she don't even learn who Calia is, her origin or latest story.
So she was said that pick that light undead (not a new main character of Forsaken people, mind you) - and play around it? Heh, that even below usual blizz quality.
I think after firing "lore nerds" - we will get same quality of writing across all expansions. What a shame.

Well the whole CS and PR department is now outsourced, so not likely we will see anythign but dry corporate promotion posts from now on, and exponentionally worse communication about updates.

Can't tell if /s or if this is the truth. If it is, that's a major bummer. The frequent communication helped make it a very positive year for WoW.

I suppose with Metzen returning this also made them highly redundant, no matter how busy Metzen is on other things. I just hope that they're not made scapegoats for writing decisions.

I honestly wouldn't count it out for .5/.7 content for Midnight, if their focus truly is on the "elven tribes".

Teldrassil feels like a future goal that we will never seen in the game itself, or at the very least until after The Last Titan because the three expansions are very anti-Kalimdor aside from Dorne being close to Silithus.

With QT being so close to the Dragon Isles, they will probably just punch up Bel'ameth a little more and use it as a staging ground for the Alliance to access QT by boat from the north. Currently the dock there serves no purpose, not even a boat to Gilneas though that would make perfect sense in 10.2.5.

I am very curious about the 10.2.6. what kind of feature could possibly be worth completely hiding from the big reveal stream?

One thing that we may get is battleground blitz with rating for season 4. Besides that, I have no clue what "feature" they could include. Housing f.e. would have been something used in the TWW announcement I think, simply because it's too huge and a fan favourite to use it for a surprise patch. Than again same could have been said about follower dungeons (even though I find that feature underwhelming, but I can see why people would like it).
