What is this guy even talking about? I started WoW when i was 10 lol .... if you want a game for "adults", maybe choose something with an 18+ rating? Besides that, it's the adults who have money for micro transactions, not kids (and any "adult" who gives their kids unlimited credit card access for a phone game ... well ....)
Like half of them on the way already. Mag'hars on the move, according to their chieftain. Draenei I think will come too, hints will be in their heritage questline.
Sporregar I think will not come.
Netherwing already there.
My wish is one of main patches after TLT - to create large questchain to migrate all from Outland. All who want it. And after that lorewise - Outland crumble for good.
All should be made with remaking some zones in Azeroth to populate them with Outland creatures.

Requote myself for that.

Is Wow your first fantasy game ? did you ever read old polytheists religions mythologies ?
- D&D : gods need mortals followers to do their bidding and spread their faith since they can't interact directly with Toril
- Elders scrolls : 8/9 of the good aedra (julianos, stendarr etc) are dead Talos is the only one "alive", Daedra constantly use mortal to help their schemes (including you the player)
- Pillars of eternity 2 : you literally begin with one the god (the pale lady) talking to you face to face to send you on a mission to hunt another god
- Viking gods and Ragnarok
- Most of the greek pantheon was stuck in Chronos belly for a time and they constantly favor champions that represent their portfolio so they can continue to do so
In all these cases godlike being weren't diminished it's the same for wow and the titans.
Also Shadowland expanded thing in a horrible way, since speaking of Danuser work make me go berserk i will just link one of the numerous post explaining why : https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wo...terlife/937651
Nobbel thinks Teldrassil genocide was a cool moment in wow, what is going on lol.
"We've come to die for the Dragon Queen Rhaenyra."
So Bellular just released a pretty interesting video about the Tomb of Sargeras. In it, he mentions Titan watchers called Eonic Defenders, and speculates that the former Temple of Elune might have roots of Elun'Ahir underneath of it.
That would then explain why this place has been sought by Old Gods and Guardians alike over the millennia.
Azj-Kahet has giant roots as well, beneath the Isle of Dorn.
Could it be that my theory about Elun'Ahir is right? That the tree once stood right where the Well of Eternity and later the Maelstrom ended up.
The center of the Old world. Prehistoric Azeroth. Roots extending outwards in every direction, deep below the earth.
Aman'Thul tore it out, and the Well was formed.
Seeing the immense power of this place, and how it had been used by Y'Shaarj as a means to access the worldsoul, he ordered his Titanforged to begin the shaping of Azeroth.
Kalimdor was formed, with the Well in the middle. Around it, other Old Gods had attempted to delve deep into the world, so they built great fortresses and prisons to keep it all stable.
Due to the proximity of its roots, Elune herself would bathe in its waters. Dark Trolls dwelling around it would evolve into Night Elves.
Later the well exploded, and the Night Elf retreated to Mount Hyjal as a sort of "Elun'Ahir 2.0".
Now Xal'atath uses the powers around the roots to evolve the Nerubians, tasking them with gathering the blood of Y'Shaarj, still dripping from the roots, and to conquer the Arathi.
Where could the other roots end up being? Could they explain Kaja'mite around Mount Kajaro and Zandalar?
Edit:
I'll include a tinfoil hat theory just for fun, one which I doubt is true, but what if... imagine if Xal'atath is a darkened version of Elune somehow, or her Harbinger. Midnight is the original state of Azeroth, and the reason why Kalimdor means land of eternal starlight. It was perpetual night.
That's why Dark Trolls became Night Elves. That was the natural order of things at the time. Them the Titans messed that up, and Xal'atath is trying to change it back to the way things were.

There is one other thing... which I'm sure might get covered in the Draenei Heritage armor storyline.. and that's finding the final missing Ata'mal Crystal Shard, Leafshadow. (While we found it in AU, I'm referring to the MU version which was lost after the Orcs used it to raid Shattrath.)
My best bet is that Leafshadow is hidden somewhere near Aunchindoun but ever since Murmur was summoned and leveled the whole area, the crystal was probably buried somewhere in the rubble. Once Velen has acquired all shard to reform the crystal, then he can probably get the Naaru's help to evacuate the last remaining life forms off Outland before it crumbles over. He did it before when he evacuated the Draenei off Argus, he could theoretically do the same for Outland. (Though it will still exist in-game for people to play through TBC stuff.)
That is true though. It was a cool moment. The buildup was pretty good, and the questoine where you had to scramble to save civilians before passing out from smoke inhalation and having to escape was pretty fantastic as a questline.
All the stuff after however was pretty shit. How it made the Horde inarguably evil in a way that stretched belief as a player faction. How it made Sylvanas into the WoW equivalent of Hitler, and the ramifications this in turn had on Shadowlands. How the story had to drag the corpse of the storyline around for years before finally having a decent ending at the end of DF.
A storyline can be good on its own, while at the same time causing irreparable damage to the greater narrative.
The world revamp dream will never die!
Ye, I remember all these WTF faces of people who saw Teldrassil burning at the beginning of BfA trailer. Literally no one expected that and served as an instant faction-tension booster.

Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
The Burning of Teldrassil was an attempt to make a "WoW version" of the Red Wedding.
The difference is that the Red Wedding was foreshadowed in advance, while the Burning of Teldrassil was a literal asspull out of nowhere.
Therein we see one of the major differences between (successful) Boomer writing and (failed) Millennial writing. Set-up; Foreshadowing; The ability to lay the hints of an event well before it actually happens.
The Burning of Teldrassil is literally out of nowhere with absolutely 0 foreshadowing before-hand. That is not how you write a storyline.
Not everything needs foreshadowing.
Not sure I follow.
Timeline:
- Elune possibly first deity on Azeroth.
- Old Gods rule.
- Titans arrive.
- Freya shapes the Dream, plants G'Hanir etc.
- Elune takes a branch off G'Hanir and gifts to Eonar.
- Eonar plants Elun'Ahir, possibly on top of Y'Shaarj.
- Aman'Thul rips Elun'Ahir out, and maybe Y'Shaarj with it.
- Well of Eternity is formed. Becomes unintended font of life and source of immense power. Titans try to control it. Shaping of Azeroth. Remember, Azerite, or the blood of Azeroth, is just a neutral power. It enhances whatever properties are there, to destroy or to heal. In this case, the roots of Elun'Ahir probably turned the Well of Eterbity into a literal fountain of life.
- Titans disappear. Elune bathes in the well, Night Elves evolve, and life blossoms on Azeroth.
- Later, Well of Eternity explodes, but Illidan kept some water for a second well. Alex plants an acorn from the recently destroyed G'Hanir to grow Nordrassil on top of it.
- The well formerly known as Well of Eternity is now the Maelstrom, a super powerful link between planes of existence, while Night Elves live on Mount Hyjal instead.
- Xal'atath who's been chilling below the sea for ages befriends the naga. Learns all the secrets. Forms plans with Azshara. The idea is to topple their ancient enemy (Old Gods and Titans alike) and unleash their shackles on Azeroth. The key lies in the Depths of the world, where the roots of Elun'Ahir dug deep, and the worldsoul is kept in stasis by great machines of Titan making.
So Worldsoul Saga is basically Elune's fight to reclaim Azeroth using her champions (us), while Xal'atath and Azshara are renegades who seek to claim Azeroth for themselves. Void, but not Old Gods. The Light will emerge as a bulwark against the Void halfway through, before the story concludes back with the Titans, as we learn their secrets and what they were up to with the worldsoul.

Major story developments whose primary function is shock value need foreshadowing. Otherwise, it is bad writing.
If a shock value development does not have foreshadowing, it is automatically badly-written.
Every random 4 years old kid is able to asspull a big explosion out of nowhere. Only a masterful writer is able to lay the hints and foreshadow before-hand.
That is the difference between Boomer/Gen.X writing and Millennial writing.
The crooked shitposter with no eyes is watching from the endless thread.
From the space that is everywhere and nowhere, the crooked shitposter feasts on memes.
He has no eyes to see, but he dreams of infinite memeing and trolling.
And the biggest issue is again, they dumped the storyline in favor of the N'zoth plot which came out of nowhere in relation to the Faction War story. And what ended up happening was that it not only pissed off the fans of the Faction-War story, but ruined all chances of any possible Old God expansion so even the fans of the Old God story felt robbed of the potential.
They should've sticked to one or the other, or if they were going to start it off as a War Story turned into the Old God plot.. then N'zoth should've been the one that was influencing everything in order to speed up his arrival.
But if they wanted to stick to the Faction War story, they should've had the Night Elves unleash a full scale retaliation against the Horde and even showcase just how deadly of a force the Night Warriors were meant to be.
(Instead, they just turned them into a pointless customization option for them and did nothing with that story.)
Not sure, but why would she plant it anywhere else in particular. Like, how do you choose a suitable location for a tree the size of a skyscraper?
We only know of a few choices that have been made.
Nordrassil was placed on top of the second Well of Eternity to contain its power.
Andrassil/Vordrassil was planted to stop the spread of Saronite in Northrend. As were the Great Trees around Azeroth IIRC.
So based on those two examples, the location of Elun'Ahir might have been chosen either to contain Y'Shaarj, or perhaps because they wanted it centered on Azeroth, for its roots to be able to spread far and wide (and maybe Y'Shaarj made his own way towards it).
Heck, maybe Elune knew of the Old Gods and Y'Shaarj closing in on the worlssoul, so she colluded with Eonar to use Life as a way to contain that threat.a
I think it's more like the argument was meant to be that Y'shaarj corrupted Elun'Ahir or became one with it, but Aman'thul pulled Y'shaarj/Elun'Ahir out, but the roots were still left intact. I think that's the point they were trying to get across...
But yeah, Eonar putting the tree on top of Y'shaarj would honestly be a very dumb move.
