So in the absence of news, did anyone figure out their Warband "Camp" alts yet?

Going with the lore of War Within or something else when deciding?

The good thing about having two accounts - I'll be able to use two different camps!

My main camp will be my Blood Elf Dark Ranger, Blood Elf Death Knight, Dracthyr Evoker aswell as my Human Warrior. If we can get a fifth it will be either my Night Elf Druid or my Human Mage.

On my second account I'll prolly have a Dwarf Shaman, Nightborne Monk, Void Elf Rogue and I guess my Earthen?

My Nelf Priest (main), my Worgen Druid, my Draenei Hunter and Nightborne Mage.
Though, since we are apparently getting a 5th slot, i'm struggling to decide what 5th character to lvl.

I made a Tauren paladin because why not? But i can't stand Paladin gameplay.
I have my Velf Monk that i do like playing, and is lvl 63, but i already got 2 elves in the camp.
I thought about making another Warrior, but the last time i enjoyed playing one was in mop.

If Dracthyr didn't get fucked over by their crappy transmog restrictions, i would've included my Evoker.
    But that isn't happening.

So yeah, it's just a back and forth for now.

Nah I'm going with my Heroes of Azeroth theme and just keeping things mixed. Human Paladin, Zandalari Troll Shaman, Night Elf Hunter, Orc Monk (pretending to be a Blademaster), Blood Elf Mage.

Pretty simple for me, it'll be my main and my three primary alts. May cycle one alt out for another to freshen things up from time to time I suppose.

There wasn't a heavily hyped, numbered patch that is shrouded in complete mystery for the Plants vs Zombies crossover.

Right now it'll be my Evoker, my NE hunter, my NE priest and for the 4th I don't quite know, maybe the BE paladin or NE DH (so many NE lol). For TWW idk. (btw off topic, I'm kinda sad to not have looted the love manuscript this year, with more that 100 trys, that's unbelievable)

I hope we can use more than 4, at least 6 should be feasible, but the more important change will be the elimination of the realm barriers on the login screen.

I got over 20 characters on my "home" realm, the first I started playing on, but my main is currently on another realm for guild reasons. Then I have a couple Alliance characters on a realm connected to the home one. A couple loose characters that I don't want to delete (because I occasionally play and level them, but mostly just keep for e.g. event boss farm or Seed Hunting) and the realm my main is on has also gathered a handful of chars at all levels.

Will be nice to not always have to switch realms and even language categories (German, English)
But your duty to Azeroth is not yet complete. More is demanded of you... a price the living cannot pay.

Hate to see this get overlooked as it seems very prescient.

That's actually an already confirmed feature of the new login screen ^^

Don't think any PR went up for this yet, but a new short story collection for TWW is listed for release on November 5th.

From deep beneath the surface of Azeroth, a mysterious voice cries out for heroes. But before these brave souls heed the call, they must answer to their own voices within . . . .

    • Anduin’s wanderings at last lead him to the solitude he seeks, until his peace is shattered in a heartrending tale by Christie Golden.
    • Andrew Robinson takes Gazlowe to a struggling goblin city, where he aims to inspire its citizens to more worthy ambitions.
    • Thrall grapples with his son’s coming of age in a heartfelt story by Jonathan Maberry about what it means to love and let go.
    • Delilah Dawson gives voice to Alleria Windrunner, desperate to connect with her son in a tense, bittersweet journey home.

These tales—besides more from Catherynne M. Valente and Courtney Alameda—portray the poignant, introspective moments set to proceed World of Warcraft’s highly anticipated The War Within expansion. As these larger-than-life heroes grapple with their next steps, a greater threat looms, one that will lead them to raise arms again to fight for the fate of Azeroth. Despite the chasm of varied backgrounds, allegiances, and choices that divide them, these tales prove that even in the darkest times, home unites us all.
I wouldn't read into the release date too much as being indicative of the actual expansion launch. The roadmap update earlier this month still has 11.0 and the expansion release in the summer/early autumn, and we just had a prequel novel for DF get delayed from releasing before the start of the expansion to the end of it, so... it's in line with how they work.

Gazlowe being one of the characters is... incredibly interesting?

Granted, there do seem to be two other character, but still, the fact that he is mentioned in the description is very interesting.

It will be a place for every armor class: I''l pick my Night Elf Priestess, Human Monk (My main since Legion), Dwarf Frost Death Knight (cute frostflower) and Kul Tiran Shaman (toughest boy in the camp). For fifth place, I'll roll my horde main, Orc Warrior (Saurfang-sided) or Nightborne Warlock (horde main Sylvanas-sided).

Yeah it's definitely conspicuous, I doubt they'd throw him in there if he's going to be totally absent from the game plot. I'm hoping that it signals more involvement from the factions in the plot beyond the character drama of Anduin/Thrall/Alleria, and that they're quietly walking back from the Dragonscale Expedition leading the charge here. Aside from how utterly bland and boring that group is, they already have Alliance footmen and Horde grunts in the key art, so it just feels weird.

The Expedition makes a poor main force when there is imminent threat inbound. Sure they have their uses as secondary civilian/scientific force on any new land, but when a real known threat is also around, more proper military force is also needed.

Oh I know, but I acknowledge that I didn't emphasize enough that I swapped topics from the yet unknown camp size to the known realm "agnosticism" - even had to correct myself from "would" to "will" both times.

As opposed to the forced and fake feeling Horde/Alliance wars we had before? Besides, the Expedition is the focus of only one zone, and even there they have to share with the Red Flight. They're not "leading the charge", they're but one of many groups involved and far from the most important.

You're about to wake the demon himself with this Undermine cope.

In all seriousness, its just continuation of Gazlowes' Pro-Union drivel (NOT ALL GOBLINS) shtick being the only driving force behind his character these days.

I no longer reply to quotations beyond if you're asking a genuine question or have a non-confrontational stance.

I still think it is sad how the only relevant Goblin character is not a goblin but just a human.
