Things like a resurgence of the Scarlets would be cool
Maybe a goblin situation with a new tradeprince rivalry
The Nelves getting a new tree with all the issues that arise from that
    The new undead council leadership
    etc

And ofcourse not all of them need a raid/dungeon resolution, but still would be cool to see.
I do think that another ground to earth “return to home” expansion would be really nice for a 20th anniversary expansion. Then they could revamp the old world for max level content, while keeping the cata zones around using Zidormi/Chromie time.
    Will it happen? Probably not.

Unfortunately I’m expecting it to be another huge cosmic “light vs void” expansion involving races like the Ethereals, mainly because of Ion’s hints to them and their history with the void… and all the new stuff with the “cosmic void”

Though if blizzard wanted they COULD still make an expansion like that a little more “grounded”
It could have reformed scarlet crusade could definitely happen on the “light” side of that expansion.
With one of the factions of Ethereals being on the “Void” side.

I’d definitely like more dungeons tbh.
M+ is a big part of the game now and I think they could absolutely jam out at least one new dungeon for each tier like the raids.
(Doesn’t even have to me a ‘mega dungeon’)

I would like them to add 3-4 regular dungeons during some patches. The format of when/how they release dungeons these last few expacs has been way to formulaic. Surprise us with 3 separate dungeons in 10.4 or something

No point for them in releasing more dungeons beside a megadungeon, when they are now using entire dungeon pool from 4 previous expacs. Also, with how fast they are releasing content, I doubt they could suddenly create extra 3-4 new dungeons.

Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

Instead of new dungeons i would prefer some 1 boss raids, like we had in the past.

    Yes!
I think I lot will be revealed during Blizzcon.
If there will be Season 4 for DF.

Well, not all brand new, redesigned old ones will be fun too.
    AKA. Zul'Gurub, Zul'Aman, Zul'Farrak.
Some old classic ones could use some love.

Would be ok if they could update them visually.

I think they will probably try to do both, what you're referring to with the scarlet crusade: a cosmic light vs void expansion using forces on azeroth. Was there a hint that iridikron is making a deal with the light? I heard that somewhere, can't remember though. Void seems to make more sense but idk.

People were basing that on a cinematic. Iridikron is just using typical earth magic, not light magic.

That said, yes I do see the next major enemy in WoW being light-based. The void as an enemy is rather tired, and having a light based enemy would push the point that there are no “good” or “evil” cosmic forces.

The avatar of this cosmic force?

EDIT: There is also talk that Yrel’s army is the new Burning Legion, only light-based instead of demon-Fel based, since both were created to defeat the void.

Interestingly, both are largely commanded by Draenei twisted by cosmic forces.

He maybe right once in a while just like a broken clock is right twice a day. It's just annoying because every time he enters a thread It's only to promote his fanfic and always ends up in endless discussions why his fanfic is really going to happen and every one else is just wrong. His constant promoting isn't just annoying, it takes the life out of every single thread he enters.

While dismissing any other suggested options based on grounds his own fanfic would be subject to as well, no less.

Promoting fanfic is kinda the whole point of speculation, this posting style might be annoying but it’s fully on topic and people just need to not reply to him if they don’t want to speculation on his specific topic.
All I ever wanted was the truth. Remember those words as you read the ones that follow. I never set out to topple my father's kingdom of lies from a sense of misplaced pride. I never wanted to bleed the species to its marrow, reaving half the galaxy clean of human life in this bitter crusade. I never desired any of this, though I know the reasons for which it must be done. But all I ever wanted was the truth.

Sorry, but ETC fighting Murmur shouldn’t be held to the same level of possible expansion legitimacy as a Yrel/Lightbound invasion, or an Undermine expansion.

Anyone else find it strange they brought back Salandria at the end of Shadowlands but her and Lornaa are seemingly absent from Dragonflight so far?

Maybe they will pop up in 10.1.5 but I really want to finally know why the bronze dragons perceived them as being so dangerous.

I feel like current writers are better at creating more "simple" stories, than something crazy and big like the cosmic VoidvsLight stuff, we might end up with another "wait and see" fiasco because they won't even bother explaining most of it, like SL.

There's a lot of things that they could create in some revamped old world zones.
Maybe create something like "race campaigns" similar to Class halls, that would as introduction for new players and also as end game content plus new customization options, armor sets etc that come with it.

I would love to do some world quests in Dun Morogh or Elwynn forest for example, let me beat up some new kobold gang.

It's that one thing that i wish wow had - content in older zones, like in other MMO's like GW2 or ESO, i don't know how it is done in FFXIV so i can't say anything about that one.

But probably we will never see that.

It was less that they couldn't handle it, more like having to deal with the aftermath of a decision they weren't entirely on board and out of the loop of(Teldrassil burning) and well what we learned behind the scenes.

Exactly, you can always ignore, heck add the code on your adblock addon and you don't even see the posts.

I think what you are seeing is simply division of labour. Level design and stories that occur at that level are down the hierarchy. The overarching narrative is probably the job of the people at the top; main storylines and cinematics. So the devs are still relatively good it's just their bosses that are poor at mediocre.

Yet we are seeing them continue to make the same mistakes as BfA and Shadowlands with the whole "wait and see" approach to the Primalist's motivations.

Sometimes inept writers are just inept.
