i'm confused. do you create a new character and keep it at the end as a lvl70 character? or is it seperate like plunderstorm? can i use any of my alts thats not max level? what if i'm already at cap with characters slots?(no joke, i am at cap or very close to it)

Create a new modern World of Warcraft character to undertake your adventures in Pandaria, collect a variety of powerful new items and transmogs, then take your transmogs with you when you continue your adventures in World of Warcraft®:The War Within™. Additional character slots will be available so that you have room for your new fully leveled and fully geared hero to join you in your continuing adventures through the Worldsoul Saga™. All Remix characters created during the event will convert to a standard character to play within modern World of Warcraft at the end of the event.


From the realm Character Selection screen, players will be given the option to create a new WoW Remix character, beginning at level 10, which will only be able to play with characters taking part in the event.

Characters in the selection screen which are only available to play in the World of Warcraft Remix event will have an icon next to the character name so they can easily be identified when choosing which mode of World of Warcraft you intend to play through.

You make a new remix specific character - and once the remix event is over, your remix character gets converted to just a normal retail character

SO this will probably be great for leveling alts for heritage armor you havnt got yet!

New character(s) and they roll over to live if they're over 10.

No idea about the cap though. I'm similar (Though most alts are just gathering dust or name holders)

You make a new Character and at the end of the event it transfers over to Retail.

yeah, this is what i fear. i don't want any more alts. i already have at least 4 alts of every class, except evoker... i would rather take my levl60 alts and make them 70 in such an event, instead of creating a new one

it sounds like thats the plan, to some extent. they way it's being phrased sounds like WoW Remix / timerunning is a thing, and this one is for MoP

see I dont get the people who say "Why cant I bring over existing characters"

The entire point of the event is leveling characters from lvl 10 - 70

so do you want your pre-existing characters to be reverted to lvl 10 and have all their items removed and then have to re-level them? At that point why not just make a remix character thats the same race and name, it would be no different no?

Only heritage armors I have left to unlock are some of the Horde's so...guess I know what side my alt will be this time. Zandalari or Vulpera though, which to choose...

edit: Assuming allied races available anyway. If not, regular troll I suppose.

Honestly I'd like them to add some sort of retirement feature for characters, I really want to play this & I'm close to max. (I still can't believe they still don't have this for Diablo 4 and the limit there is just 12)

I guess I just have to delete a bunch of high level characters ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The only problem is that you won't get your heritage armor until TWW drops and your character transfers over. Unless I missed something.

yea this cements DF as my favorite expansion of all time, what a banger way to end this expansion
