I just woke up - So how grindy it is to unlock renown in reality?

still pretty tough, you need to collect plunder to get renown, and Im averaging 300-400 at the very most before I get killed off usually. Minus the rare few occasions that I manage to live longer, I got like 700+ for living long enough to be in the top ten but that doesnt happen often

Good thing i will only have to unlock 19 renown, for me personally, first 2 sets look better than the last one.

No black eyepatch in the reward track so probably will be in Trading post, also the last pirate set looks pretty bad on races i play and is a little on overdesigned side in my opinion.

3 days of sub left, i will grind what i can after EU servers come up. ^^

the entire secrecy bit is still strange - like there no story or lore, or hidden secrets of any kind.

I think they're testing the waters with this to see if they can make it into a full on game mode either within WoW (Retail/Classic) or make it its own game. Then make it free to play and put it on Steam/Consoles.

I would say that, if 10.1.5 didn't have a enormous buttload of content. Warlocks for everyone, Time Rifts, Augmentation & Megadungeon.Well, they did say TWW Alpha starts in April & Plunderstorm ends April 30th.

EU servers are up and with betterwardrobe addon you can now preview Lo'gosh armor sets.

The alliance/blue on is listed as Trading post and the red one/horde is listed as shop transmog set(ehhh).

plunderstorm should give more rep and should have a mix of better rewards/ranked mode. it's a nice start but i don't see it lasting more than a couple of weeks without a carrot on a stick to chase tbh

i'm talking about long term. once the battlepass is completed there is no reason to play plunderstorm without additional rewards.

idk about the daily quest, but a dev already said they're going to increase rep gains. they're just waiting for at least 1 day of data

Also, it *seems* like the season 4 elite sets will actually be the season 3 ones, *NOT* the ones people voted for, so I guess that one just was for the PVE ones? Bet a few people will be pissed about that since they prolly believed they could get season 1/2 looks again. I'm actually quite happy about it, since the only old set I would have wanted was monk, while literally any other elite set I owned fully would have been given away again haha.

This is kinda proofen by both the achievement and the sets tab on retail right now. Of course they could still change it, but I honestly doubt it right now.

Although its red/horde, it's basically the canon version Varian used. I'm a bit salty that we get a Varian mog and it's just... An excuse for another orc warrior mog. I want his king armor.

They need to copy the movement of FF XIV, where there's an option with no back pedaling, maning your chsracter automatically face the direction of you movement, whith the option to lock enemies like zelda and auto face the mob your attacking when using any spell

Ehm, have you seen the human heritage set? That's basically an updated player version of Varians armour as close as we will get it.

Alright, my initial experience with this plunderstorm BR event - yeah, probably fuck the rewards, 10.2.7 waiting room.

Feels incredibly clunky when you get to fighting other players, i don't even know why they didn't make co-op/pve version of this at the same time, since you pretty much have to do PvE stuff with forced pvp element if you have to be done with this event as fast as you can as non pvp player, if you just want to get some rewards.

But i guess it's just not for me.

DF meta achievement is pretty easy. I haven't done frustrating Researchers under fire achievs and grinding Forbidden Reach for treasures and all I have to do is few treasures from main 4 zones + peting Bakars. Oh, and SL gladiator mount is already available if you done SL meta achiev.

Best part for me was simply not having to regrind Cobalt Assembly on whatever character I am the closest to completing the meta on. Couldnt imagine having to spend another day grinding that awful reputation a second time.

If WoW would replace all the old PvP types with different maps of Plunderstorm (not using Boralus or Stormsongvally is such a miss), i could see doing PvP from time to time. Quick matches, quick queues, no over powered or premade groups as enemies.

Get's a thumbs up from me, who hates PvP.

Oh man, just make a version of current BGs with this model, but instead of gaining levels and skills each class / spec has a small kit of abilities and that's it.
