Going off the name, I could also see a Gaelic/Celtic theming being both suitable and fairly fun to play around with, especially since it would allow the expansion to ride on the coattails of Elden Ring a bit. Another potential approach could be to theme it around either the Roman conquest of Britain or the conflict between Rome and the Early Catholic Church, with the Titans and Titan proxies being themed around the Roman Empire and the heretics either having a Celtic or Roman Catholic theme depending on what precisely they're worshiping instead of the Titans.

Another cool idea would be to make the place have a Middle Eastern theme overall, with the Scarlet Crusade and/or Alliance forming a crusader-themed Order-State there.
I think the Middle Eastern/Arabian theme with the Scarlet Crusade invading akin to the Holy Crusades would work better with Tel’Abim.

Tel’Abim as an Arabian Nights/Middle Eastern themed expansion with the following would make for an excellent change of pace of traditional fantasy we are used to in WoW:

    - Scarlets invading reminiscent of the Holy Crusades.

    - Djinn and Ifrit

    - Bustling, magical cities of Brass in the sands. Complete with bazaars, enchanting marketplaces, apothecaries, holy places of the locals religion, temples devoted to Djinn.

    - Underground caverns of wonders beneath the desert. Magical artefacts, portals to other realms, treasure troves, ghouls and traps. Think a proper Aladdin’s cave style.

    - Wild jungles, as well as hidden sanctuaries, monasteries and cities located within. Think Shambala.

    - Nightsquall and his pirate fleet invading.

Inari is a major kami. Her name references "rice." Just saying she's a big deal in Shinto.

Last campaign chapter unlocks this week but you have to kill last boss of Aberrus.

Am i mistaken, but wasn't the quest for killing last boss always optional and there was another quest to finish the campaign before? or i just have a hole in my memory.

No, I think the raid quest is usually optional. I think the only times it has not been is when you only get the quest at the end of the LFR unlock schedule.

Sure but she is not pantheon leadership. Inanna is.

IF blizzard ever decides to do Tinkers in a future expansion, I wonder if they’d be restricted to Gnomes/Goblins or if they’d be open to all races.

If they’re restricted to Gnomes/Goblins they could go all out and have them be in a mech suits most of the time, at least for one spec, and it can be around the size of a Tauren. (Like you can see with Mekkatorque’s mech when he is in the Embassy)
They could go all out with being able to customize it too.

But if they’re open to everyone else I doubt they would simply because of size. Unless they make it a “transformation” like the G.M.O.D mount I guess.

It's Ebyssian, to no ones surprise.

Wrathion is gonna be his Diplomat and Sabellian his General.

Hope he and Merithra get somewhat better models. I assume they won't get a unique dragon model until they actually become Aspects.

The latter are good choices in so far as it keeps the two more interesting ones as the front-facing figures and villain-bats neither.

More importantly, it's over and Fyrakk is still alive. Good news for camp in the upcoming patches.

    @Nymrohd

Ebyssian has that nose ring icon, so he's getting a new one. Merithra is a mistake, but I assume she'll still get one by 10.2.
Dickmann's Law: As a discussion on the Lore forums becomes longer, the probability of the topic derailing to become about Sylvanas approaches 1.

Tinkers will be the next Class confirmed.

I'm at the point where "tinker" probably should've been ingame from the beginning. Because I can't see how in the hell a Gnome can go hand-to-hand, toe-to-toe, with a Tauren, Orc, or any larger race.

    ...goblins don't exist to me.

But your duty to Azeroth is not yet complete. More is demanded of you... a price the living cannot pay.

Sabellian: I have a harem & rule like a Prussian king
Wrathion: I've a secret police & committed multiple genocides & never really got called out on it

That tells me that the one thing we should not expect to see there is Titan architecture. If heretics from the Titans went there, they would have almost certainly been corrupted by whatever force was there before.

Looking at the Warcraft cosmology chart, the other cosmic forces besides Order (which would've worked with the Titans) are Light, Shadow, Disorder, Life, and Death. We've already seen the realm of death and how it connects to Azeroth in the Shadowlands. We also have seen how Life is connected with Azeroth with the Emerald Dream. We have not fully seen how Light, Shadow, or Disorder would be connected with Azeroth, though we do have Shadow creatures in the Old Gods. If there were an actual connection to Disorder on Azeroth (a land or a race or whatnot), one has to imagine the Legion would've tried working with them this whole time. Perhaps it's due to the lack of a Disorder foothold on Azeroth that the Legion tried to invade so often.

That leaves us with Light and Shadow, though we tend to see Shadow more as the Void. Well...funny thing about Light and Shadow, the cycle of the Na'aru shows us that one tends to become the other. They are two sides of the same coin, but two sides which cannot see each other. But both sides are patient. The Light sees a singular path and will wait eons to see that path come to fruition. The Shadow is more than happy to wait as long as it needs to, for in the end it consumes all.

What does this mean for Avaloren? To me, that means that it is likely a foothold of Light. Given how the Old Gods were running rampant during the days of the Black Empire feuding with the elements, the Light would appear to be the most likely force to have a foothold we don't know about. There's a lot that a Light-based place could be, but I suspect it will involve tall architecture with lots of golden designs. Something like a Camelot could be appropriate here or perhaps something akin to the Crystarium from FFXIV, but I see Light being the base style behind the design choices.
Why would they be corrupted by some force? Besides the implication that "corruption" is just a word from the Titan-forged referring to anything that doesn't explicitly align with the will of the Titans, simply disagreeing with Odyn & Tyr doesn't mean you're corrupted: Loken rebelled as well & he was not corrupted by old gods or demons.

Considering Odyn wanted to exterminate the mortal races for the curse of flesh, rebelling against that is not "bad" & I would hope we would sympathize with those heretics. Considering they may be the only reason the playable races of WoW exist at all.

God them making ebon horn the aspects is such forced garbage.
All I ever wanted was the truth. Remember those words as you read the ones that follow. I never set out to topple my father's kingdom of lies from a sense of misplaced pride. I never wanted to bleed the species to its marrow, reaving half the galaxy clean of human life in this bitter crusade. I never desired any of this, though I know the reasons for which it must be done. But all I ever wanted was the truth.

leave it to blizzard to write something that is both boring and forced at the same time.

If the writing has to be at least make it fun. The jailer was unironically better.

    How disappointingly arbitrary.

WoW has had formulaic and basic storytelling for most of its life, and the experimental stuff (Nelf tree/playable faction is evil/gods are robots) was reviled.

This is just a return to form.

i agree that a genocidal Prussian king with a harem and secret police who gets away with it should be president
