Okay revised prediction!
Remaining Hero Talents on Tuesday, Alpha on Thursday.![]()
As a main DH, I just want to see the Fel-Scarred talent tree, as the Aldrachi one seems very lame. I am also interested in the Warlock's Soul Harvester Hero Talents.
The Fury Slayer Hero Talent Tree looks cool but I do not think that my fingers could handle its fast pace.
I guess that I always have the option of becoming a Dark Ranger to annihilate everyone in BGs from a safe distance, which is always fun.
Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.
I'd like to see it add some Elune-themed magic too, to bring it closer to a Priestess of the Moon. We don't really have any options that replicate that fantasy, since all the Elune stuff is weirdly thrown into Druid.
Priestess of the Moon probably would have been a cooler choice for the Hero Spec overall, but I expect they're probably avoiding gender-specific names.
Sentinel should be about speed and surprise, imo. Using your ranged weapon to fire lots of arrows fast, out of nowhere.
First the element of surprise, perhaps giving you a massive edge against uninjured enemies when you initiate combat, and then as something you build up.
Maybe it gets stronger if you're behind the enemy, or at a certain distance, encouraging movement, kiting, etc.
I guess we can't assume what a specific hero spec will play like (example, the one NPC identified as a "Deathbringer" in game, actually has the Sanlayn gimmick) but I remind people "Night Elf Sentinels" in WoW are based on the Huntress Warcraft 3 unit, so I'm hoping for mounted combat.
I'm really excited for Dark Ranger, mostly because I love playing Sylvanas in Hots....the people who were deadset on playing Survival Dark Rangers seem... deluded. I get hoping they'd bring back dual wielding is a common ask, but Dark Ranger was never going to be the spear spec.

I doubt they'll get mounted combat. It doesn't feel very Hunter-y, and leaning hard into a specific niche in the Sentinel (Night Elf) army doesn't feel like it makes a whole lot of sense, either.
Sentinels are agile guerilla warriors more or less, primarily archers. That's what I think should guide Blizzard in this instance.
I don't remember if it's been discussed or not, but will Warbonds make currencies account-wide? Timewalking continues to be the best way to level alts, but the lack of ability to trade badges across alts forever keeps me from getting my beloved Val'sharah Hippogryph.
Probably currencies that gives player power = no (they don't want people that play 1 char being forced to play alts just to funnel their main), cosmetic only and legacy = yes (legacy in the long run, like reps).
Don't see why timewalking shouldnt be account wide, doesn't matter you could brute force all rewards with alts day 1 of new timewalking. You can already have them stacked for life even playing 1 char.
I think the plan is to make it account wide, but we don't know if there will be any restrictions. While its basically confirmed that anima for example will be account wide it's unlikely that currencies like aspect crests will be. Hard to say what happens with timewalking badges since you can in theory buy useable gear.
With alpha starting soon(tm) we will hopefully have a clearer picture on the account wide stuff. I really want to know if there will still be stupid restrictions on transmog and how currencies work.
You can get ~550 for single run every ~3 weeks (first run give quests for 500), not to mention quest for timewalking raid, WoW anniversary quests/rares etc. Most people won't bother with it, I just say it's possible on single char if you do it regularly.
Personally during DF I leveled my rarely used allied race alts doing just 1 dungeon per char every cycle, so now I have multiple characters with 5k. Unless Blizzard invent some new currency dump with Timerunning, I'm set for many years.
Personally I really hope professions will be part of warbands - so totally account wide. Blizzard could just make knowledge point universal currency that you can use on every profession, which would prevent us from being one man army.

So much this. Especially secondary professions. What is the point of leveling them in two characters?
But man, account wide professions would make so much sense. There is no way that I bother to level them in different characters. If I were to be able to access all of them with any character? I will hunt for all mats and recipes for sure.

Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
They updated the Fated Wilderling model to the one that has the big horns and improved glow on live. Looks good.
