.5 PTR realms are down, I guess .7 PTR next week.
They updated the Fated Wilderling model to the one that has the big horns and improved glow on live. Looks good.
They need to fix the teeth on that thing, they look real wrong. Too big for its mouth sorta wrong.
I'm curious what changes there will be for professions. It's not that the df system is bad, but it really needs some work. They fixed some abuseable things in the first patch and added a few recipes every patch, but no improvements whatsoever. No catchup, no new source of knowledge points. Not even new ranks.
I was convinced that we would get rank 4 and 5 gems/flasks etc. in the last patch at the latest. But now im happy we did not. I love doing things on my own, but i much prefer paying someone 10k to craft something than doing weeklys for 30 knowledge points just to craft bracers at max rank.
While I hate, hate, hate the Crafting Cartel, I feel like introducing more Knowledge Points/a catchup/respec would go entirely against the system that worked relatively well.
Getting a lot of points needs to be an investment, otherwise you don't really have a reason to not just craft it yourself.
The only thing that I hate about DF craft system is the rank system for crafting reagents. For crafted items it does not bother me, but for reagents, meh
Btw do you think they will translate Untranslated Obsidian Tome in 10.2.7?

There is the big deal Ebonhorn makes of maybe talking to her eventually, which like so many Black Dragon storylines never really ended up in anything.
Best case scenario is that 10.2.7 will pull it all together through the void artifact as a guiding thread through the World soul saga. We take the untranslated book to Adamanthia who tells us what the artifact is, and where we need to go to help stop it.
The world revamp dream will never die!
the narrative went to shit starting from 10.1
1) forgotten plot points like adamanthia and the oathstones
2) ruined storylines
3) rushed narrative
raszageth and iridikron were the only good things of this expansion story wise

Oathstones were either a red herring from the start (the twist being Azeroth would empower the dragons, not the Titans) or they were scrapped because of Metzen's changes to the Tyr story. I don't think are any other glaring plotholes. Things like Decatriarch Wratheye and Adamanthia seem to be built to be longterm, for better or worse.
The plot feeling rushed is the unfortunate consequence of a smaller expansion and subsequent smaller story but we will see if it is properly condensed in TWW onwards now that they have a plan.

we should get a big dose of lore soon April-May there will be not only alpha but we should also get animated shorts, I wonder who they will be about
I mean, while the storytelling in DF was "safe", I wouldn't say it was a "rushed narrative" or had "ruined storylines".
I mean it is a debated topic whether or not Wrathion's story was "ruined" in DF through the changes to his character and his fate being something other than aspect. I personally don't agree but if a lot of people are feeling it, it's a point of contention.
Besides that I can't think of any really ruined stories. They executed the nelf stuff really well IMO (and that lore reveal that their empire is fine was a big deal hidden away at the end)
My hope was that they just abandoned ship on the Oathstones partially due to Metzen's new plans for the saga, but also because someone internally stressed the idea that it felt like a literal reskin of the Shadowlands sigils, Legion Pillars of Creation, etc. It would be a real shame if each of TWW's zones ended in the player character discovering/saving/reclaiming XYZ ancient artifact. It's such a tired device.
Allerria, Thrall, Anduin, Dagrann II, Moira, maybe Gazlowe, maaaaybe Falstad would probably be on the shortlist if they're going individual based. If they follow DF's, maybe we get some lore on the Nerubians and Xal'atath's involvement.
