It explains it. Before the Dragon Isles were separated, the flights hate graveyards on the Dragon Isles. They moved to Dragonblight after since they could no longer access the Dragon Isles

They didn't forget about it, but they did slightly retcon it.

Senegos mentions Dragonblight in the quests, how they started using it as their Graveyard after the Ossuary was no longer accessible.

They can rotate the event across all continents. That's the achievements taken care of.

Taregosa model is crusty low poly model from Cata.

They won't use that for their brand new marquee feature.

Since the dungeon is called DAWN of the Infinite, the Infinites obviously won't be taken care of, and this is reinforced in the dungeon journal, which makes it sound like Murozond is born during the dungeon and we don't take care of him yet. So 10.3 will focus on the culimination of Iridikron's and the Infinite's plans, with either Iridikron or Murozond being the final boss. Alexstrasza and the Red Dragonflight has been criminally underused in the story so far, so they should be heavily featured in this patch.
Of course we won't kill Murozond in 10.1.5 or in the whole expansion actually. We already killed him back in Cataclysm.

No. Shadowlands is past and forgotten, never to be brought up again.

They literally just brought it up again in the very latest story quests.

I really liked the blue dragonflight questline, from the beginning to the end, i wish there was more interesting questlines like this, where you go to different places that feel like mini campaign, that are also voiced.

I thought i will have to put this patch to the coffin, because i don't enjoy 10.1 like i thought i would, but this questline was very entertaining.

I've seen some people mention before latest update that this kalimdor dragonriding kills hope for the revamp, but now it seems like it will be only a holiday activity for now, so i guess all hope is not lost and we might actually see full dragonriding in Kalimdor and EK when they do revamp it or at least parts of it.

Dunno, from the looks of it they seem fine adding it to even crustier TBC models. Don't see why they'd leave out the comparatively more modern Cata ones.

Another thing - after seeing new Malygos model, do you guys think it's time for another round of character model updates like they did in WoD?

More unique and profound face styles, that actually show more character and hair textures, skin details etc to bring it closer to NPC quality, stuff like that.

Nah more like, they should update their 3d parts and add the cloth system to robes and capes. Its gear that is really outdated. Also hair system and stuff like that should have prio imo.

Reeeeeally enjoyed the Blue Dragonlight questline. This is why we need a world revamp. To see how all the different factions and characters that we met along the way are currently doing. To see how Azeroth is evolving. To see what new threats and alliances are made.

It was really awesome to have the map open up and to be able to choose what Blue Dragonflight member we want to find. In some of these quests there are definitively hints for future content.

Finally, I got my wish and we get to see Malygos' Legacies model. It is only for a brief time, but he looks fucking cool. I bet that they are going to use it more in the future... making a new model just for a few seconds in a cinematic... Well, I guess that Deathwing's visage was severely under used too in Cataclysm, but we will see...
Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.

In regards to Vakthros, I saw this posted in another thread on the forum.

That going from DF development and what’s currently on live via questing, that the Vault of the Incarnates raid was seemingly originally placed at where Vakthros is, with Azure Span being the final levelling zone. This is backed up by Kalec and Khadgar being the primary characters for the Vakthros campaign, and them being in the raid. The giant frost spider, of which the Azure Span has several quest chains dedicated to them, as well as Vakthros being a place of seemingly huge importance with Razsageth and the Primalists launching an all out assault. This is backed up by the quest line in Thaldraszus with Alex pursuing Raz to the Vault, feeling pretty barebones, as well as not seeing a huge Primalist assault leading to the Vault. Combine that with if Thal was the penultimate levelling zone, every player would have witnessed Eranog’s corruption. Makes perfect sense to me and could safely close the door on the importance of Vakthros.

That said, I could definitely see Vakthros being the home of a new Dragonflight introduced mage tower, if we were to get one.

The Blue flight quest was brilliant. Making us go back to old zones felt amazing, hopefully they do this again in the future.
Also really wish we could keep Sindragosa around for longer!

That would makes sense. It is pretty bizarre that its seemingly an important landmark yet its never elaborated what it even is. I feel like you rarely see that kind of mystery in WoW anymore. So not sure if its intentional or not.

Even though its pure hopium, I am definitely hoping it got repurposed into MT 2.0 as well.

Not where Vakthros is but rather on an island to south but still in Azure Span and the Azure span biome.

Also add, when you pick up the quest to go to the raid, you talk to Alex about what happened in Azure Span, NOT in Thaldrazsus.

We'll see. I would have said the same but they seem to still be rolling out classes and the ones remaining are those that would require more assets, so that's telling, i think.

That's a good point, I hadn't thought of it fitting into Vakthros.

Yeah hairs too, about armors it sucks when you have some 3D parts and then you have some metal piece in the back painted, but infront it's 3D element, or belt painted on but the element in front has 3D piece.

About hairs it's really lazy how they added new hairstyles but didn't add scalp textures, hopefully they will correct that in the future, but many races could also use less pissed, younger face types and not having many races to have mostly receding hair styles to choose for males/bodytype1..

So looks like the Kalimdor Grand Prix can let you buy a teal color for your velocidrake mount. Maybe we'll see some of the other unused colors (and I imagine teal for the other drakes too).

Gotta say I dig the teal.

Ye it just annoys me we are still have those tube robes and hair that is so static, while casting for example 80% sticks through armor. Meanwhile we have lor themar rocking both the cloth system on hes sleeves and hes hair is also suprieur. They should really take a look at armor in general, it feels incredible outdated in 2023.

Its also not an excuse anymore that some people wouldnt be able to run it on their pcs. The technique is there to make it work i am pretty sure.

Not sure if I dig the color myself, bit clowny for my taste, I would care more about the white color, such as we saw in caverns.

None of the Dragonriding mounts look old, and especially not their special skins.

They added the Dragonriding animation set to near enough every old dragon mount, including stuff like the old Drake models.
