Where are all the wild speculations? 10.2.7 seems to imply much much bigger things... the title of the patch alone "Dark Heart" implies Xal is going back in time to get the heart of Y'shaarj either before its drained or through its avatar once Garrosh sucks all that juice..

And Xalatath is in sod where she'll probably get the C'thun juice. Her original dagger has already some connection to nzoth after the bfa ending, and she has yogg'saron's juice from the Galakron corpse at the end of the megadungeon.

They can't really be non-void high elves in the Rift: Only void elves can survive in the....void. It would be like a regular person going to space without a spacesuit.

Interestingly, the Worgen and Undead guards in PTR Legion Dalaran have been replaced by Silver Covenant Helves and Sunreaver Belves respectively. This seems to be an intentional change as they are Level 70s.

There's also a Kirin Tor portal in Telogrus.

They are definitely doing a "ok we'll use old lore and factions again" vibe for TWW.

Late to the party here but stopping in to say that this remix thing is a really good idea.

Been saying for years we need a way to get new players into old content, seasonal stuff like this is a great way to do that.

The only improvement I'd make so far (from a glance) Is making old potential allied races rewards for fully completing it. We've had so many over the years that would be perfect but were never added and it feels like we'll never have a good time for them to come around in the future. This would be perfect to add show players how Jinyu and Hozen joined the factions. Imagine a WoTLK remix which rewards Horde Tuanka, Alliance frostborne dwarves and Neutral Tuskar. A man can dream.

Also I’m willing to bet Xal’atath is going to be doing time void shenanigans in the Timerunning/remix stuff just like she is in SoD.

We did a lot of speculating when it appeared on the roadmap. So far everything is pretty much in-line with what we were expecting so we haven't needed to throw out our old speculation and start again yet

I think the options are either that she'll drain Garrosh after we defeat him but before Y'shaarj's power fades away as it did in our timeline, or it'll be something to do with Xal'atoh since they're both Old-God-forged weapons with the same naming convention, or she'll run off to grab some artifact from some hidden vault that we had no idea about. Anything like draining the heart before Garrosh would involve changing the story too dramatically.

Garrosh escapes once again and returns to the present day. Later to help us kill Lightforged AU Garrosh.

Remix sounds great. Kind of regretting taking the time to level up every class now since this sounds like a much better way to level (and I'm sure I'll want to do Landfall and Isle of Thunder on a lot of classes if we can unlock multiple of those class sets), but it's not that big of a deal. I missed a lot of MoP the first time around so I'm looking forward to actually doing all the content here.

I wonder if Demon Hunters and Evokers will be playable and get their own class sets though. I did notice that one of the meta-achievements gives a trinket with Demon Hunter's Chaos Brand effect. Hopefully that's just meant as an equivalent to all those utility scrolls and not a substitute for DHs entirely.

I think the Telogrus and Dalaran stuff is probably going to be part of the Harbinger Quests leading into TWW. Alleria seems like the obvious link- she should be hunting Xal'atath, she's obviously tied to Telogrus, and the gameplay trailer showed her going to Dalaran and having her Void visions there. I assume we'll follow her to Dalaran and see the opening scene from that trailer.

There were datamined ensembles that had similar names to the Trading Post sets/weapons, so it's gotta be those.

White is definitely closer to the Velf aesthetic than the green ranger gear she used to have.
I am more so annoyed with the new hairstyle. Makes her look like she is 16.
