I'd like to see Remix come back for the entirety of every X.Y.7 patch- a new one if they can develop it on time, or a repeat if not (or if they actually manage to reach a point where we've seen them all already). It'd give us something fun to do at the end of a season when most people are finished with progression anyway.

Sounds fun. They could also just redesign Time walking to be similar too.

If they could figure out a way to have the new classes take part imagine what a Legion remix could be like.

They could probably tie it in with a future storyline if they bring up K’tanth again.

I don't think they would do it. But they could easily make a Bronze-themed Order Hall for Evokers to justify the time shenangians of them being added in.

If you mean using old content, you can tell that about every big anniversary. 5th was Onyxia revamp, 10th Molten Core (limited), 15th some LFR thing with old bosses (limited) and old AV that stayed.

I doubt it will have timerunning stuff aka level new character in old expacs with new rewards, TWW will be still relatively fresh.

I understand wanting something big for the 20th anniversary but their anniversaries have never been anything substantial. I think vanilla remix is the best we can hope for. Or maybe a new version of the 10th lfr

I think throwing it after every tier would be too much, 1 per expac is enough. But definitely rewards shouldn't go away pernamently - let's say with WoD Remix there would be WoD vendor with all new stuff and MoP vendor with lowered prices (outside rare mounts from main game).

I agree here. Alternatively, they could create an event with similar functions that fits within the current expansion for each tier. Not necessarily timerunning, but the same idea. New coat of paint.

undead night elves were used as peons and warden ult summons back in wc3. it's a culture where the goddess makes you serve even after death - besides putting a number of major societal constraints, such as mass emerald dream service and arcane control.
there is a niche for the risen sentinels, with the dark side of the moon vibe, or racially specific variation of the knights of the ebon blade theme.

Let's be honest with ourselves, the undead night elves killing themselves and having their souls be spirits/avatars of vengeance in their first non-meme appearance since WC3 utilizing those star textures and abilities they got for Tyrande in SL would be far too cool a vibe to actually happen.

It'll be an extensive gangbang taking place in the Lordaeron throne room.

I'd say a remix at this point in the expansion cycle next expansion would be great. It gives a reason for my friends who are newer players to go through that old content, earn the reps too for a character and get all that cool old stuff and experience an expansion.

I imagine a lot of players may return for a WoTLK remix so they can buy that elusive Invincible they never got. What a great idea.

I've had 6 possible ex wow player friends hoping to return for remix so we can guild up for it and clear the raids. Exiting stuff.

That's what I'm thinking. Mid June to mid August, enough time after S4 and few weeks after Cata Classic. I would love to get Warbands ASAP, but pre-patch won't last whole Summer like some people here suggest, hence August for pre-patch.

Oh for sure. The phrasing in the blog post suggests that its gonna last till at least the pre patch. So probably till late August.

Absolutely, I'd imagine they want people who join back to play this ready to immediately jump into the new expansion with their newly levelled characters.

Yeah, I'm guessing that TWW will launch mid September. Like Sept 16 or 23rd.

Prepatch around August 20th or 27th.

Assuming This comes 2 months after 10.2.6, it should be around May 21, but Cata launches May 20th so im guessing they will delay 10.2.7 until May 28th, or June 4th.

Assuming im right, June 4th to August 20th is 12 weeks exactly, so 3 months for the event sounds pretty good to me.

I really hope they delay it until at least a week after Cata though. I don't want to have to chose between them, and id like at least a week if not 2 of Cata before I jump into MoP.

I resubbed today, mainly to 1. get the pirate pepe from Plunderstorm (I am a Pepe collector), 2. get the Legendary cloak visual effect toy (weird how whenever I transmogged my legendary cloaks, the visual effect never appeared), 3. get the Quilen mount recolors, and 4. get the Sha of Anger mount. Wish the Huolon mount was for sale too. It will also be fun to do the MoP raids again rather than just eviscerating them, particularly Heart of Fear since it is the most overlooked MoP raid. Gonna use this opportunity to level up (another) Death Knight, this time a Pandaren. Just need to farm my transmog in time.




It would have been nice if - like Season of Discovery - an Alterac Valley/Ashenvale-esque structured open world PvP experience was implemented, reenacting the faction war. Ie, pushing down the roads and capturing towns in the Jade Forest, or reenacting the Horde vs the Golden Lotus and Tushui in the Vale when Garrosh excavated the heart, or having a vietnam war in Krassarang Wilds. Yes, there are the 5.1 PvP dailies down there but they have been out for 12 years. People who cared have done them already.

Leveling a caster in Remix is so much more annoying than melee, especially in crowded areas. So hard to tag mobs as everything insta dies lol

Im a little annoyed with some trading post lineups.

There is stuff that get datamined only recently and that will appear in trading post in the summer but items that were datamined very early when trading post happened are still nowhere to be seen, like the og paladin helmets and such.

i would say 100% alpha, because it has to be released next week.

Before DF some content creators had already videos up from alpha before it launched from what i remember, so it might be the same thing like last time.
