The Blue flight quest was brilliant. Making us go back to old zones felt amazing, hopefully they do this again in the future.
Also really wish we could keep Sindragosa around for longer!

That going from DF development and what’s currently on live via questing, that the Vault of the Incarnates raid was seemingly originally placed at where Vakthros is, with Azure Span being the final levelling zone. This is backed up by Kalec and Khadgar being the primary characters for the Vakthros campaign, and them being in the raid. The giant frost spider, of which the Azure Span has several quest chains dedicated to them, as well as Vakthros being a place of seemingly huge importance with Razsageth and the Primalists launching an all out assault. This is backed up by the quest line in Thaldraszus with Alex pursuing Raz to the Vault, feeling pretty barebones, as well as not seeing a huge Primalist assault leading to the Vault. Combine that with if Thal was the penultimate levelling zone, every player would have witnessed Eranog’s corruption. Makes perfect sense to me and could safely close the door on the importance of Vakthros.

That said, I could definitely see Vakthros being the home of a new Dragonflight introduced mage tower, if we were to get one.
That would makes sense. It is pretty bizarre that its seemingly an important landmark yet its never elaborated what it even is. I feel like you rarely see that kind of mystery in WoW anymore. So not sure if its intentional or not.

Even though its pure hopium, I am definitely hoping it got repurposed into MT 2.0 as well.

Not where Vakthros is but rather on an island to south but still in Azure Span and the Azure span biome.

Also add, when you pick up the quest to go to the raid, you talk to Alex about what happened in Azure Span, NOT in Thaldrazsus.

We'll see. I would have said the same but they seem to still be rolling out classes and the ones remaining are those that would require more assets, so that's telling, i think.

That's a good point, I hadn't thought of it fitting into Vakthros.

Yeah hairs too, about armors it sucks when you have some 3D parts and then you have some metal piece in the back painted, but infront it's 3D element, or belt painted on but the element in front has 3D piece.

About hairs it's really lazy how they added new hairstyles but didn't add scalp textures, hopefully they will correct that in the future, but many races could also use less pissed, younger face types and not having many races to have mostly receding hair styles to choose for males/bodytype1..

So looks like the Kalimdor Grand Prix can let you buy a teal color for your velocidrake mount. Maybe we'll see some of the other unused colors (and I imagine teal for the other drakes too).

Gotta say I dig the teal.

Ye it just annoys me we are still have those tube robes and hair that is so static, while casting for example 80% sticks through armor. Meanwhile we have lor themar rocking both the cloth system on hes sleeves and hes hair is also suprieur. They should really take a look at armor in general, it feels incredible outdated in 2023.

Its also not an excuse anymore that some people wouldnt be able to run it on their pcs. The technique is there to make it work i am pretty sure.

Not sure if I dig the color myself, bit clowny for my taste, I would care more about the white color, such as we saw in caverns.

None of the Dragonriding mounts look old, and especially not their special skins.

They added the Dragonriding animation set to near enough every old dragon mount, including stuff like the old Drake models.

Chromatus is in an arcane prison at an unknown location
    Vakithros is an unknown location
Malygos had many things linked and they were storing chromatus is a prison similar to those he made

Is it possible the cult will find the secret to releasing him in vakthros and the new aspects will have to face off against the last challenge the previous aspects had simply locked away and forgot about?

Azmorne: Scourge vs Wings of Al'ar - Silvermoon never falls & Azeroth unifies behind the High Elves against the Scourge. Vareesa is turned by Frostmorne instead of Sylvanas.

    Val'anyr
Ulderoth: Sons of Hodir vs Agents of Loken - Curse of Flesh never happened & some titan-constructs form a rebellion

    Sulfuras
Azq'roth: Old Gods vs Elemental Lords - The Black Empire never ended

    Azzinoth

    Seschenal, Everliving Staff of Eonar
A.Z.E.R.O.T.H: Robots vs The Races of Azeroth - Mechagon declares war on the planet, replacing the sapient races with robots

Thunderfin, Humid Blade of the Tideseeker
Azmerloth: Murloc Alliance vs Murloc Horde - Essentially the same but Murlocs are the dominant species

    Shalamayne/Doomhammer
The Warlands: Grand Alliance vs Blood Horde - The first war never ended

Is there any source on how these time rifts are going to play out or just speculation?

The Val'anyr one is interesting but only cause Curse of flesh didn't happen(which I hate the idea anyways). The time rifts concept is pretty crazy though, they really went ham with the time travel in a very cool way.

I've seen some people mention before latest update that this kalimdor dragonriding kills hope for the revamp, but now it seems like it will be only a holiday activity for now, so i guess all hope is not lost and we might actually see full dragonriding in Kalimdor and EK when they do revamp it or at least parts of it.
Some real deep cuts in there. They’re respecting their own history. This is to be commended.

This Blue dragon questchain is way overhyped on Twitter.

Sure, it's fun to see some overdue lore, the characters we meet are pretty quirky and charming, the voice acting is good, and I like hanging out in the "real" Azeroth.

But it's also super repetitive, going after all those Blue dragons. Because most of them follow the trite old Blizzard formula of "chat to an NPC, receive two unrelated kill/fetch quests before moving on", they feel so similar to each other. Each part is pretty shallow as well. You basically meet somebody with a gargantuan problem on their hands, and within five minutes they go "OK, let's flap away to the Dragon Isles together because family and stuff".

There are people on Twitter saying they literally cried, not just once but several times as they watched the finale. A finale featuring dragons they've barely met in the game, except as raid bosses 10 years ago.

It's also suuuper awkward to see modern day quest writers casually gloss over the fact that Malygos kept four female dragons as his baby-making machines, given how they're usually so eager to remove anything which is remotely offensive from the game these days.

Its the datamined descriptions with context from new datamined mobs. The Azzinoth one takes you to *modern* Suramar, and we see ancient elves fighting demons & an uncorrupted Illidan. The Azqroth & Azmerloth ones are just instances we saw during the Bronze leveling questchain. Warlands only features races referenced in Warcraft 1. etc. It looks like all the time rifts take you to what is relatively the present day, just in an AU

I kind of wish they'd give dragonriding to every mount, even if the animations would look extremely weird.

Might as well damn them for having yellow exclamation points above their heads, too, if we’re just damning WoW for being what it integrally is.

Besides the one we kill in Wrath and struggle cuddle adept Keristrasza, who're the other two?
Dickmann's Law: As a discussion on the Lore forums becomes longer, the probability of the topic derailing to become about Sylvanas approaches 1.

Tinkers will be the next Class confirmed.

Theres one in Winterspring since classic that never had any relevance in the story and sindragosa. Nothing indicates that they have been used as breeding machines though. Its only Keristrasza that is abused by Malygos.

Idk, Senegos' passing did pull on my hearstrings.
And i'm gonna miss Sindragosa quite a bit.

Isnt the implication with Malygos that he had Sindragosa as his sole consort, until later after her death when he simultaneously got a bit mad?

Doesnt seem all that shocking that he might have had new relationships after the one with Sindragosa. Not to mention that we don't really know what consort means in the grand scheme. Could be wife, could be lover.
The world revamp dream will never die!
