    Dornogal, the Earthen's capital.

    2. Does there appear to be any noticeable difference between Horde and Alliance levelling experience?
I don't think anyone knows this yet. Sounds like the only testing so far has been the Isle of Dorn.

    3. For those in the know, how are we feeling about the known narrative so far?
Seems fine but we really don't know much yet.

Yes. I meant the mechanic itself is gonna be the same as DH, just after roll. Still it's awesome.

I think I will run the dungeons on follower mode the first time around, just so I can take in the story at my own pace.
if Khadgar does die, I hope they find a way to bring him back. Just nothing contrived. But I want him around. heck maybe the Wonderball could allow some "Shade of Khadgar" to stay behind and help us with knowledge if we need him down the line

Red shirt guy just confirmed the Dark Trolls / Night Elves / Guardians are called Harronir. Sounds an awful lot like Elun'ahir.

Harrow, in English, can mean to pillage or plunder, a frame with spikes or skarp-edged disks drawn by horse or tractor, or cause distress to.

One explanation puts it: "dragged across ploughed land to smooth or break up the soil, to remove weeds or cover seeds". Sounds a bit familiar with the whole roots theme.

Lastly, how does the tone of the expansion feel? Is there any content / expansions or patches that it feels like historically?

It's hard to get a good read on peoples opinions when you've been out of the loop for a few months lol
    1. Yes Dward Neutral City
    2. Most likely same. Seems no faction confilict.
    3. Should be better than the last 3 expansions now that Metzens back, but who knows.

Well, Medivh died LONG ago and he still showed up once in a while, so I suspect Khadgar might have something similar up his sleeve.

Weird that they give Dornogal the Trading Post. I guess their over needing us to ever go back to SW/Org

Eh, i don't see what's aquatic about it?

The claws and thorns very much signal underground flora.

Drogbar related, maybe? Wasn't it an ooooold theory they were related to Trolls?

You can see a Drogbar in the City of Threads for a second.

Yeah I will never be a fan of that. I'll never like the neutral city hubs.

    Shattrath was part ruin
Dalaran is solid but overused and now . . .
    the Shrines were tiny
the WoD Ashran areas low effort
    Oribos is just boring
Valdrakken is OK but I cannot say it excited me.

For me best capital in a long time is Boralus.

I'm just spitballing, but I think it could be like this:

    - Dark Trolls were abundant in central Ancient Kalimdor, gathering around the Well of Eternity and evolving into Night Elves due to Elune's and/or Azeroth's presence.
    - Some of them wandered into the depths of Khaz Algar upon learning about Elun'Ahir's fate, possibly urged on by Freya.
    - These "mysterious guardians" found the roots of Elun'Ahir in the deepest, darkest caves of Azj-Kahet and decided to remain.
    - Influenced by the presence of the roots, their eyes turned green. Their ears grew larger to hear better in the dark, so they could elude the Nerubians more effectively.
    - They've long since stopped hearing any word from Freya or the Titanforged, but remained dedicated to their duty. Now, however, with the Nerubians evolving at a rapid pace because of Xal'atath, they're starting to lose their fight and are becoming unable to protect the roots much longer. So they've agreed to meet with Queen Talanji (and possibly some Night Elf emissary as well?), thus bringing them into the Horde and Alliance.

Tiny spider model, I assume pet, is adorable.

Boralus and Dalaran I kinda liked but in general I would prefer if it was just OG and SW.

I doubt the humanoid nerubians are spider-like enough to trigger that. It seems like the crab filter is just for the ones with more than two legs.

The proto elves are on the wowhead dressing room by the way.

    They look quite good.

I like how you can push them to look a bit more elven or a bit more trollish.

the -nir ending is seen with a lot of vrykul/titanforged/noridc names. Thorignir, Sjonnir, Hyldnir, Hurthnir. Perhaps don't look at Harro from an english perspective, but a nordic one? Harro in basque means proud, harr in norwegian is greyhound, and harr in swedish means grayling? Could be many inspirations for that name.
