You know, sometimes I think that this playerbase doesn't deserve a complex story.
"B-BUT D-DISCIPLINE PRIESTS!!!!!"
My Goodness, just enjoy the complex story of a mother who wants to spend more time with her son, but is physically incapable of doing so due to dangerous powers that she was bestowed with.
Why are Millennial viewers/readers are always so hung up on irrelevant and trivial details that no one cares about and have no relevance to the story (like Discipline Priests)? It's like they can't just enjoy the story and be done with it, No, they NEED to find holes within that story, even when there are none.
Just enjoy the most complex in the last 10 years of WoW, that of Alleria and her affliction. A story that isn't about big monster explosion, but something more complicated and realistic.

Lore =/= Story.
The Lore of Warcraft is simple. There was this well that blew up 10,000 years ago and 10,000 years later the orcs are invading.
The Story itself can be multi-layered, but sadly people would rather talk about Discipline Priests in a cinematic about Alleria and Khadgar ?????
And what is the theme of that conversation you propose? Its rather simple and understandable cinematic, we discussed new models, info from it is not spoilery, what do you propose? And most of it - there

That it's tragic how Alleria at the end of Legion wanted to spend more time with Arator, her son that she never saw grow up, but that she cannot do so because of outside circumstances.
That it's tragic how, one of the few times Alleria and Arator are shown together, it's in that Corrupted vision where Alleria sacrifices Arator to the Old God.
That it must be difficult for Alleria and Khadgar to come to terms with modern-day Azeroth, which changed so much in the 30 or so years since the Second War.
"Complex" doesn't mean that you have to take a math quiz to understand it.

I might be stupid, but where does this "Light and Void touching creates an explosion" come from?
I know Fel and Void created an explosion, but I can't really remember an explicit mention about Void/Light
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

Chronicle 1 and A Thousand Years of War.
Both describe instances of the Light and Void coming into contact, becoming unstable and releasing a fuckton of energy.
Even in-game we saw Allerias contact with the Sunwell caused it to destabilize and allow that group of Void Ethereals to invade.
And that thread should be in Lore sub-forum. I remind you, its next content speculation thread, not about Alleria feeling about her choice to abandon her son. Same as Turalions actually.
And btw - what
you mean? That was not in cinematic to discuss that. That it must be difficult for Alleria and Khadgar to come to terms with modern-day Azeroth, which changed so much in the 30 or so years since the Second War.
Should it be? I think it should be not in promo for next patch. in book - ok, in short story - yes, ingame "stay awhile and listen" conversation - yup. But not in promo cinematic for patch.

The point is not that Alleria is an uber-powered Void being. It's that she is a mother who unfortunately cannot spend more time with her family. That is a realistic story.
Much more than the nonsense between Sylvanas and Anduin in SL.
But people have always been biased towards Sylvanas. Back in SL/2021, whenever there was a new Sylvanas cinematic, everyone was always talking about Sylvanas.
Now finally Alleria gets one cinematic centred around her, and everyone talks about Discipline Priests or random explosions.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
And that was not in cinematic.
All of that was
"Hey old friend, how you, good?"
"Hey, I'm fine"
"Look, help with that whispers, we don't know shit about it, you are expert in Void shit"
"oki-doki".
That is all.
Not about "mother who unfortunately cannot spend more time with her family" and 10minutes talks like at therapy. That is not belong to speculation thread.
If you wanna talk about Alleria - you can start thread in Lore sub-forum and go wild.

Because I don't have to. There is like zero rules telling me what I have to talk about from the cinematic. If peeps feel like talking about X character, then they will. If they don't, they don't have to.
I know that it irks you greatly that people don't want to spend as much time as you do on certain characters, but there is zero you can do about it.
