Metzen mains a Male Human Paladin and loves Turalyon, the quintessential Male Human Paladin.

There's pretty much no chance that Turalyon does something evil, villainous, scummy, or dishonorable. Like, actual 0% chance.

It's far more likely that Turalyon will die in battle against the Void, sacrificing himself for someone.

Oh yeah I forgot that Orwenya (Harronir leader) is a Vassal of Life with green eyes. So I think she may be a secret villain in cahoots with Xal and may be the instigator for the Rootlands patch.

I'm all in for more focus on the Rangers.. come Midnight.. and evolution on in-gam gameplay for the 'Dark Rangers'

Wrathin comes back? Dragon expansion clearly!
LK part of a quest? Wotlk 2 clearly!
Sylvanas working with a death master? Shadowlands clearly!

At the point we're headed for Wrath of the Shdowlands Dragon Isles Lich and tinkers.

Wasn’t also his prophetic death heroic as well? Yeah makes sense.

Honestly I don’t see any of the heroes of stormwind with statues living past the saga. Khagdar seems to be going down. If Turalyon dies I can see Alleria going crazy and who is left of those? Again.

A symbolic way of closing that door for new blood

I wouldn't go that far. Don't forget, it was under Metzen that Turalyon was completely humiliated by Illidan in that famous cutscene.

Isle of Quel'danas: Serves as an introductory zone in the style of Tanaan Jungle, the Broken Shore, the Waking Shore, etc. An initial race to reach the Sunwell before Xal'atath fails, with her forces reactivating and corrupting Ban'dinoriel to cloak the kingdom in a shield of void energy, driving the factions all the way back to the borders of Quel'thalas. Players later return in to it as an endgame zone in a patch.

Eastwald: The Plaguelands restored and returned to their original glory, where a reconstructed Stratholme acts as a staging ground for the Horde and Alliance forces and the Army of Light assembles at Light's Hope Chapel preparing to breach Ban'dinoriel.

Eversong Forest: The region comprising the Ghostlands, Eversong Woods, and the expansion capital city, Silvermoon.

Zul'Aman: The long forgotten domain of the Amani Empire. The arrival of the Zandalari sees the gates to the Maisara Hills opened to the outside world for the first time since the Troll Wars. This might also be a good zone to revisit the Arathi and set up a darker side of their zealotry.

Darkspine Reef: A recently assembled staging ground for Azshara's forces off the western coast.

Ruins of Azj'aqir: An underground remnant of the Black Empire sealed away by the Amani Empire after the Aqir and Troll Wars 16000 years ago.

Splinters of K'aresh: The remnants of the ethereal homeworld and Dimensius's foothold in reality.

    Completely humiliated? Bias off pls.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

And then, yeah, K'aresh as patch content.
I think this seems more likely then stay on quel'thalas the full expansion. So yes I think so.

You truly believe that cus of metzen likes paladins?

It will be honestly interesting how the naga play into Midnight, if at all.

While Metzen might love Paladins, don't forget his favourite character is Malfurion. And look how he has been treated since WC3.

Pretty sure his fave was always Thrall.

Exactly. Or even Thrall. After Сata the poor guy just can't catch a break.

Well in 2009 he said his fave was Malfurion and he loves to write him.

Metzen: I would just say too, I mean Malfurion’s always been, personally, my favorite Warcraft hero. He’s my favorite to write, so I’ve waited a long time to get this guy back into the mix, and have him play a significant role in the shaping of Azeroth. He’s a mega player, and he’s been off the scene.

A solution to this could be some form of flying landmass.
Also I think the Amani area can be expanded significantly. Making Zul'Aman a steep hill could give us more vertical areas.
Redesign the cityscape zone of Quel'thelas (and what other cities are retconned in) to have very tall buildings, almost like skyscrapers. Redesign Eversong woods to be tall like the Emerald Dream woods.

That doesn’t mean he would be willing to destroy what we know of an stablished character for some villain batting. Honestly light whorshipping fanatical empire in a new land is the biggest red herring I have seen in a while. We are not going to do twice the light is bad expansion so we will probably blame some catastrophe on the arathians when a portal to their realm is permanently stablished

They don't need to redesign the city for that.

Silvermoon already consists of tall buildings and spires.
Most of belven architecture is very narrow andvertical, and also floats more often than not.

Anduin captured again after just one expansion?

It seems that he is begging to be corrupted and killed by the mighty heroes of Azeroth...
Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.

Unlikely. Plus he totally has to survive to go fetch Sylvanas from the Maw in Midnight

I think people are way too worked up on the current in-game scale of Quel'Thalas, it's going to be much bigger come Midnight since it's all going to be separated from the rest of the Eastern Kingdoms, while also still looking the same size when viewed on the map.
Blizzard's cutting corners again? Yare Yare Daze...
