The intro quest takes us to Dalaran to meet with Dagran and Brann, so yeah he's studying in Dalaran.

I kinda love how this zone's weapon theme (and the Leather set) is industrial. Sorta like construction or profession vibes (chisel dagger, blades with saws/teeth, mace that looks like a hammer, 2h sword has a weird 'blade cover' looking thing on the back edge of the tip.).

The bad? part is that everything goes awakened at week 7. So we get almost no time to farm the raids with overpowered gear for mounts.
Yes, it's capped. But what I said wasn't that you were going to be fully geared on week 1, but that you only had to kill the first boss in order to get the dinar.

Based on what? It will probably be a quest again like in SL. No where does it say you get it from your first boss kill.

    Main hub tour:

Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

Dornogal is better for two reasons imo:

    1. More open, less cluttered
    2. Architecture feels more real. Valdrakken and Thraldraszus do what Shadowlands do: introduce something new and alien we're not familiar with, and go 110% with it

Yeah I agree, Dornogal feels more homely than Valdrakken

Especially using Hearthstone art to compare to...they're wearing pretty much the same thing: Colorful cloth armor & various scrolls & sachets. If people were comparing to how he actually looked no one would be complaining about his son's glow up.

As I said it was an assumption since you need 2 dinars this time to get an item and there's a dinar catch up.

Also, you can compare both patch notes. Right now, it says :

"Earn 1 Antique Bronze Bullion a week per character by defeating Awakened bosses, with the cap rising by 1 each week. Note that if you miss a week, you'll be able to catch up to the current weekly max."

When Shadowlands' patch note said :

"Entering any Shadowlands raid in Season 4 will start the quest "Crossing Fate", kicking off a questline that will reward players for participating in Fated Raids over a number of weeks with a new currency: up to 3 Puzzling Cartel Dinar."

So it's likely going to be a boss drop. It can still be shards you have to assemble so you need to kill a minimum set of bosses or a % droprate. But right now the wording says you can drop the dinar on any raid boss.

Agreed, variety is always a good thing.

Do we know what age dwarves generally begin growing beards? Assuming it's a puberty thing like in humans, if he's in his teens he should have some growth - granted he's also a dwarf, a race know for beard genetics, so he should have something by now; maybe he's just chosen to keep it shaved?

I do actually dig the fact that dungeons/raids entrances are organically in the main city hub.

Also, are these new instance portal visuals?

    Interesting that you mention that.

In fact, the only piece of Dalaran we can find on the island is the Spire of the Guardian.

Before we get too excited, an airborne explosion can jetsam debris over several miles, especially over the ocean.

I just feel like having pieces of Dalaran in the ocean and more spread out would be a cool and easy visual thing to add that amplifies the impact of the scene.

The fact that it's just the spire is suspicious, combined with the webbed Dalaran image.

I will still hope that Khadgar somehow managed to port part of Dalaran elsewhere.
