People would just dismiss it as a "glorified vehicle quest".

I don't think there is any real satisfying people who complain about quest diversity. Also because they're not toally wrong, it's just a difference in expectation management.

I've been digging in the alpha dressing room in wowhead and there is a cool earthen NPC exclusive armor set of each armor type (search for "earthen" in each armor slot), it's disappointing that players cannot use those, they're better than the heritage armor. If it's in the game they should make it available to the races that can use it, like the orc wolf head in 10.2.

hope we get a build today with the Ringing deeps

Much of the Isle of Dorn seems to not be ready so I'd rather see a more complete build on that than further content that would be less about testing and more about our curiosity

2-3 minigame type quests like tossing things to an npc crafting, or bombing runes.

What they dont say is types of questing WoW is missing? Is there some magical quest formula blizzard aren't using, or are players just burned out on rpg quests?
the activity you listed are fine and some exotic activities here and there are always welcomed. What is missing is thr story telling mechanics. Don't have 4-6 different npc tell you the same situation of the camp only to have each of them then send you do a chore.

Have an orchestrated discussion using multiple npcs then have all the objectives under the same quest.

Make the situation of the quest givers more compelling by not having them powerless and completely relying on you, sure you can help but you shouldn't be the only one to be helping in the whole continent (this is something that has been very well illustrated in BfA and Dragonflight).

MoP and Draenor are two different approaches that have worked very well. The devs know what works and have people able to do the right job but it costs time to do it correctly...

I'm only now doing some DF side quests, the ones starting at Dragonscale Camp in Zaralek are great in that regard, while you get quests from different NPCs about the same general issue, each tells you about how they got into this situation and/or how it affects them (or other NPCs they care about)
But your duty to Azeroth is not yet complete. More is demanded of you... a price the living cannot pay.

Wow there seems to be a weird correlation to a patch not being on the ptr with it being full of bugs, what a coincidence.

Most things that were bugged wouldn't have been caught during PTR (TW Chests giving wrong loot, which happens every new season anyway) or were working during PTR.

Also, 10.2.6 was on the PTR.

Not before it was released, which is the entire point. In fact 10.2.7 was on it for about the same length. So that does not bode well.

How about everything other than that one thing? Rogues, Evokers & DKs entire rotations are bugged. Downgraded crests don't actually work. About half the vendors in the Dragon isles are just broken & it still hasn't been fixed, etc.

10.2.6 literally was on the PTR, but only dungeons were tested. The Rogue/Evoker/DK thing would not have been caught, because raid testing (and it only happens in raids ) always scales you down, and people generally don't really pay attention to damage numbers due to the scaling. Also, it's not "their rotations" that are bugged. Periodic damage spells do less damage than intended, which does not impact the rotation and is the reason why it only came out almost two days after the season came out.

Would anyone have downgraded crests on the PTR? I genuinely doubt it. The vendors were literally working on the PTR and they are already working and have been working for like half a day now.

You're just proving my point that the stuff that needed to be tested, wasn't tested. What does it matter if 10.2.6 was briefly on the ptr if seasonal content & plunderstorm weren't part of it. Do you get a lot of people testing a ptr with no new content on it?

Stop gaslighting people seasonal stuff were literally on PTR. No to mention bugs happen every patch.

Once again, all the bugs that are happening literally happened before.

S4 SL had the issues with some abilities scaling incorrectly. Fated had a PTR.
Timewalking quest chests giving wrong rewards happened every single season so far.
And once again, do you genuinely, whole-heartedly expect me to believe that people would have tested downgrading crests on a Fated PTR?

They didn't do a PTR for the raids because no one would have tested it. People are being selfish, most of them test stuff because it's cool new stuff.

Also: What bugs were there for Plunderstorm?

I just realized that the cosmetic versions of Ashkandur from the Bullion vendor are called 'ultra greatswords'.

I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure that's a nice little nod to the Souls/Ring games given Ashkandur's size.

And the new Maw dragon mount from the Shadowlands achievement had the flavour text:
"Was I a good boy?" the soul asked Zovaal. "No. I'm told you were the worst."

.. and I can't tell if that is just a reference to that comic/it being a literal bad soul, or if Blizz is taking a jab at themselves for Shadowlands aswell.

    No Blizzcon this year.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

With the year and half expansion cadence, does this mean Midnight will be revealed before the next Blizzcon?

I wouldn't be surprised if they break from the typical Blizzcon schedule to fit the new cadence.
