    Spidery Sundial

While the artifact is clearly of nerubian make, it is curious what the cavern-dwelling spiderlords would have needed with a sundial. Could it be somehow attuned not to the actual sun but some light-producing, subterranean mineral? Or perhaps it suggests the divergence of the nerubians and qiraji following the destruction of Azj'Aqir.
was digging for epics on cata, and would you look at that. to have an underground sun is not a revolutionary idea, but in a nerubian context certainly feels like a callback. or at least indicates that they consult prior bits of lore even in item descriptions - compare https://www.wowhead.com/spell=93441/...-elune-pendant
    Necklace with Elune Pendant

Elune is the primary goddess of the night elves. She is associated with the larger of the two moons, the White Lady. While she is a goddess of peace, she is not a pacifist. One of her aspects is the Night Warrior, who takes the valiant among the dead and sets them riding across the sky as stars.
not sure how a sundial would work with a static crystal though.

A new dye system has been discovered, currently used for a goblin chair prop.

What could this possibly be used for? Maybe an internal thing that we'll never see, or maybe dare I hype a 11.1 feature?

Nowadays stuff like that are seen more often in small patches, X.X are usually just zone, season and raid.

So we have garrosh heirlooms available again, but still no recolors of CM sets or recolor of kor'kron wolf.

Weird that they are still sticking with that, kor'kron wolf itself still has 7899 tenders/bronze(like other datamined rewards) currency attached to it, so they at least considered it before.

No Kor'kron wolf is definitely a weird hill to plant the flag of exclusivity on. Even more so when there are so many other things available in Timerunning that are just as exclusive.

I suppose it might be a way to test the waters on how much the playerbase is willing to concede in that regard. I can't imagine we won't be seeing Timerunning again eventually, and eventually making the AotC mounts available might be a nice carrot in future iterations.

One of the prerequisites for a true evergreen housing system would be the houses being placed in a location as expansion agnostic as possible. And the expansion taking place in Quel'thalas is definitely a good option to focus to make housing at least in Gilneas for Alliance if nothing else.

The first potential housing item being a Goblin item feels pretty on the nose as there is no better race to be in charge of housing.

Don't you remember Metzen talking about "uniting elven tribes"? Silvermoon will be as much Horde as Dalaran is Alliance, we will probably see sectors for Blood, High, Void and maybe even Undead Elves.

If this is some form of housing and directly goblin related, I wouldn't be surprised if we'd see the same kind of "Town-In-A-Box" type gag for it.

I have to wonder if the Wolf, at least, might have been left out because Blizzard completely misunderstood why the datamined Tender price for it was so poorly received. As someone who doesn't have it, just buying it would feel cheap and meaningless, but I'd love another chance to earn it from the actual content. This is the best chance there could possibly be to implement that, even if the Remix raids will probably be easier than the original scaling. I can't help but think that they saw the outcry and decided that people just wouldn't accept any way to get it again.

That seems more like a stretch. Remember, the interesting part about that char was the dye system, not the chair itself.

This could lead to something like actual dyable armour, though.

I think this is a natural extension of mount customization. Any collectible can become a collection in itself by allowing it to be customizable.

They also said Midnight has features that would knock our socks off etc. albeit that's standard interview hype.

I think so too that they misunderstood the situation, when people thought it will be buyable in the trading post.

Adding kor'kron wolf for bones of mannoroth and bronze currency just like tusks of mannoroth should be the way to do it and i don't know why they didn't even did it for at least a recolor.
It would take even longer time and more SoO to complete than it was in the past to get that in time.

I'll honestly take that if it means they end up revamping it at some point. It really needs to be updated, soon..

What is more likely to happen is they just add a section for Void Elves, Nightborne and Night Elves and call it a day.

I sort of doubt dyable armor is going to happen anytime soon, especially with how much they've liked doing recolors for various difficulties/activities the past few expansions, and especially especially since they like doing different color variations on the trading post.

Honestly, If anything, I think the way this is most likely to show up is in the form of more dynamically spawned in objects. It basically allows for what happens with NPCs currently (e.g. "Primalist Mob" spawns and sometimes it's a male vulpera and sometimes it's a night elf and sometimes its a tauren), but with objects. Because now you have a chair on which color could hypothetically be randomized or selected by some secondary variable.

So for example, you could go into a dungeon, or delve or whatever, and the instance, like Waycrest varies layout, picks a palette, and that tells all the objects to 'dye' to some color and changes the entire look of the instance.

Or stuff like when you use a chair toy, or an event spawns some chest, it can put out a chair/chest that picks from a bunch of random colors, and now they don't have to keep each of those variations as anything more than a small square on the single texture file.
