Yup. That's a bizarre claim by that guy. We've had the entire initial plots of expansions spoiled routinely since forever. Acting like it's new and messed up his just shenanigans and looking for something to complain about.

Thrall also makes sense for the steward of the World-Soul. That you dislike him personally doesn't mean he doesn't. It would however be a bit on the nose given Thrall is basically Metzen's self-insert character (and always has been), and Metzen is literally in charge of WoW's "soul" as it were at the moment.

I mean, Anduin is so important that the Jailer, the ultimate mastermind of the Warcaraft mythos, needed Anduin as the centre-piece of his masterplan.

I don't think you realize how important Anduin is. Thrall doesn't even come close. He is very old news.

So Yeah, I can easily see a scenario where Anduin plays a key role in preserving the World-Soul. Just as he played a key role in Jailer acquiring all the Infinity Stones. (Reminder that Anduin snatched three of the Infinity Stones)

Do we even know how old he is? I don't think we know how long dwarven gestation is. All we know is that he was conceived the latest at year 25 and it is year 40 now.

Also I was hoping for some big event before the release like we had in Legion but given Early Access, that will obviously not be possible So the Dalaran part will probably have to be an introductory scenario.

Anduin will be the Main Character of the entire Saga. I predict that TLT will conclude with Anduin becoming the steward of the World-Soul.

In many ways, Anduin Wrynn is the MC of all of Modern WoW.




But, mind you, this is different from Garrosh/Sylvanas/Thrall. Because it actually makes sense for Anduin to have so much spotlight...
