Blizzard really needs to come out and make a statement on what's going on with addons in the near future. I'm not referring to that brief period of them being disabled on the alpha, but sudden changes to the 10.2.7 PTR severely rate limiting addon functions that would apparently make popular roleplaying and other addons nigh unusable or intentional alpha changes removing whole functionality.

I have a blind guildmate that relies on addons to be able to play the game at all that was very stressed out by this last night and it's how I found out. I don't know what they're doing here, but the worst part is that from what I've gathered the addons that everyone are actually railing about (Weakauras, DBM, etc.) would be the least affected by these changes.

I'm praying for some lovely lightning spell effects. The most recent one we've gotten is the new Lightning Bolt animation/the lightning lasso talent. And it's sad because Chain Lightning looks infinitely better than both of those, imo :\

I would love to see some new animations for Shamans but I'm not too hopeful tbh lol

I don't think we've seen much of the new SFX associated with Hero Talents have we? I know the Voidweaver was highlighted but I was assuming most of them were missing.

What I want to know is what will replace the best racial of all time

It's a non-combat slot since they still have their stat bump. My guess is some amount of profession stat, +2-5% resourcefulness or something. Or maybe in keeping with the previous reputation theme, they'll get 5% increased gold or supplies from world quests. Something that makes for a nice bonus to do rep related stuff on them, but not feel necessary to optimize warband progress.

Can't help but wonder if we'll see some of the nature themed Trading Post items return with a different skin next year in a hypothetical Rootlands/Harronir area.

It also brings the question, if they do make a Rootlands zone or something of the sorts, how do they make it feel different from the Emerald Dream aside from the obvious Titan/Dragon thematics?

As i pointed out before.

Harronir tents and gear resemble the Everbloom aesthetic with its vivid green and red accented thorns.
So its likely gonna look like a dusky, cave version of the Gorgrond jungle.

I think that thursdays will be for alpha updates.

The entire expansion is similar to Zaralek and Everbloom is a very different aesthetic to the Dream, the one holdover is the roots (and both are world trees)

They had maintenance on the internal/private alpha last Friday, and a new build for that on Monday. Given their (so far) weekly cadence, we'll probably see that build sometime this week.
