Yes they can. Blizzard and other companies have done that before. You can make a change going forwards.

Because you'll hit 70 and start abruptly getting OWNED IN THE FACE. I don't know what level your character is right now, but I know they aren't 70 from you saying this. Your performance will drop drastically at 70. Stuff that would have done 30-40% damage to you at say, level 40, will abruptly start one-shotting you at 70. Actual just normal non-elite quest-mobs will one-shot you sometimes even.

You don't need to spend millions to get out of that, but you do need to spend tens of thousands.

The gear upgrade currency should have been something different. How has Blizz still not leaned that forcing people to choose between looks and power will never end well?

Let them. It's tiny number of people who have done that, and it's not "millions" - if they've made that much Bronze, they can make more.

I'm 70 and it absolutely sucks. Would have frozen the XP gains around lvl 30 if that were possible in Remix. But alas, Stormwind and Mr. Twink are off limits.

But the gear upgrades are way too expensive to even think about them when they use the same currency a the cosmetics that were supposed to be the main point of the event. They should have used Infinite Flightstones it some shit for the upgrades.

And how could it be only tens of thousands when a weapon alone costs like 100k?

Yep. That's why only way is to buff bronze gains. Not only frog enjoyers spend bronze on gear, normal people do it too. Cosmetic are not THAT expensive if you focus on stuff exclusive to the event.

Having fun with Remix. Fresh 70 (non pumper) was a bit rough until I got better gear and started gemming stuff (yes. I didn't use gems until 70. It was a enough of a nightmare having to resocket tinker and cogwheels whenever I got an upgrade. I didn't want to add any more resocketing stuff).

Is there a list of things that are definitely only obtainable in Remix?
Stuff like the Shado-pan ensembles are Remix only, and things like the class-armour-type are semi-unique I guess. But I notice a lot of world armour sets and toys in the bazaar seem to be just stuff you can get in Retail.

Good chance it could be. I wouldn't mind that personally. Blizzard has been killing it with mega-dungeons since Operation: Mechagon.

its been pretty funny seeing people over the last few days calling for cloak rollbacks, just insane tbh. blizzard didnt rollback things that were a lot worse than this, and that actually affected the live game (artisans consortium shuffle in 10.0, for example)

I really don't get why people are getting so angry about remix raiding when its only tangible rewards are two titles plus the garry stuff (and I don't think this is a normal raiding issue) and you have 3 months to get them. Also when raiding was not the main draw of the game and is mostly a gimmick minigame with how buffs/stats work in Remix.
