Remix is up for at least 3 more months... plenty of time to get OP and stomp through the raids

So was Remix meant to be played like an ARPG season? Not as fun content you can log in for a couple of days of gaming during the time it is up and get most of your goals for it completed? Because I honestly thought it was more of the second one.

Most people are not going to engage with this content for 3 Weeks let alone 3 Months and because they have to choose between cosmetics and power(yes I know the cloak) they will likely never reach it.

Again its about what the design is and there seem to be opposed philosophies at play as others have pointed out.

Exactly and it seems to me that one part of the team working on it thought it was the first while the other thought it was the second.

Haha, the naming comes from the amount of wow licences on my account - my first two have actual names so wow1 was free I guess .... at first I thought they gave me alpha twice, but wow 1 seems to be the PTR account ... which shouldn't appear on the alpha login. Maybe they are already preparing the pre-patch PTR in the background though?

Not really, all the transmog is unique as it has class-agnostic versions which you can't get on retail.

The only stuff you can get on retail are the toys and some of the mounts.

I think the "getting them all" is what has people hung up. Which fair do, WoW has been about "getting all the things" for a decade. The idea that you can't grind out the whole collection in a weekend does frustrate people.

You don't need max item level to get the collectibles. Your daily run of random hc / scenario + full raid finder should be enough. Anything above that, even better and faster.

Event is up for 3+ months, you aren't supposed to get everything within a week.

I know I have a few mythic rouge pieces on my old monk from ToT.

Ye did landfall at 40 or so.. or lower. There was one mission with Anduin were you need to kill alliance soldiers who are possesed, that had weird scaling for me and they kinda one shotted. Meh.. just hit the guy once and let anduin kill it with smite, while I kite around the room. That worked.

You can the class set for free, which class you play and you can spend and LEARN others for 4k bronze. Meaning you can just level one toon, collect and shit and done. Pointless to level alts imo.

The only stuff you can get on retail are the toys and some of the mounts.

The mount vendor sells all rare mounts you know from to day, but also which are unavailable on retail. The real shinies are the unused colored ones. Everything else is just.. what ever to me. Such as tusk.. sure you can get it easy (or not) vut I dont give a flying fuck about those.

People are going to be so mad when Frog Farmers just get a FoS, because Blizzard doesn't care that players got overpowered in Remix - the only reason they nerfed Frogs was because it made group finder (even more) unusable because all groups were just frog groups. When I started a group for something else, people just joined and started farming frogs. All other content was starved of players.

There is also the ambiguity when it comes to tier set ensembles. If you gain a tier set mog and presumably the same will be true with Warbands, it retains a class restriction. Yet MoP remix tier set ensembles do NOT have a class restriction right now. You can grab a monk mog for your rogue.

Last boss only? Kinda lame. Usually in raids there are some other bosses you have met during questing. This will be an incomplete experience.

I mean, its no different to how its structured now.

Most people just wait for the final raid wing/boss room to be unlocked on LFR, and then queue up for that.
Never seeing the rest of the raid.

This just allows you to do that solo.
