And I absolutely loathe the idea of writers forcing Geya'rah to start respecting Turalyon after their little team up on Khaz Aldar. That's why I asked my question in the first place. I want to know if my fears about where the story will go next come true.

Like I saw a recent stream of T&E where Tali said that someone told him the horde is "poc coded" and in Amidrassil horde members get a buff that says "they are being watched", and apparently that reminds them of how coloured people are treated irl. Like are you kidding me? What about the Night Elves then? Literal refugees that actually allow the people that destroyed their home and committed a genocide against them to walk around freely in their new home, and the genocidal maniacs are the ones that are feeling bad because "they are being watched"?

I think it's called Midnight because its climax is going to be the low point of hope, meaning the actual mastermind/arch villain above Xalatath--or maybe it will be her in ways we don't know yet--is going to have their goal basically happen and then we'll be left with a massive cliffhanger until TLT. I don't think we're going to kill a void lord in Midnight.

I think it'll also tie into the Hour of Twilight stuff that's been hanging over us since Cataclysm. The actual definition of twilight refers to the time between sunset and full night (or the first light before the dawn), so I suspect that Midnight will be what follows after the Void's ultimate victory. Xal'atath may die in TWW, but she'll accomplish the Void's goals and cause the Hour of Twilight in the process, leading to us making our last stand in Midnight (and I suspect that, rather than having the Sunwell corrupted again as many people predict, we'll be defending it as our only hope of fixing everything).

Sounds like he is searching for excuses to hate him. They are both antagonistic which in of itself is pretty bad writing since he somehow has maintained peace several years and has gone through this arc already like twice. Jesus can just they forget about it

There's a subset of horde players that try to insert social justice into fantasy wow races that have some inspiration in poc cultures, and find anything slightly bad happenning to those races racist. It's weird.

WoW has always been about fantasy race wars and fantasy race steortypes (see gnomes, dwarves, goblins...) so everyone is kinda racist in-universe, don't try to shove real-life racism into it.

At the end of the day they still work together. This feels both inconsistent with what has been shown for the last few years and tacked on. I know this will absolutely amount to nothing and that this is a way for a blizzard to say “see we still have factions!”

Yeah honestly she is an absolute dick and a savage. But it is wild the disconnect with Turalyon casually strolling through Silvermoon and talking to Liadrin and has achieved the longest peace time. But now he hates orcs.
