How many of the Hero talents have their spell effects implemented? Because I've only seen Sunfury, Voidweaver, Archon, and the 3 warlock ones (granted, Hellcaller doesn't seem visually impressive so I'm not sure if that's ready or not) with spell effects. And there seems to be very little people posting showcases/deepdives into the talents and instead are just gung-ho'ing it through dungeons which makes it difficult to see the animations.

I hope Herald of the Sun gets better visuals. The lines and sun icon look stupid.

Well then, the road ahead is clear. While Turalyon remains on the throne of Stormwind, Anduin will go through some bullshit and end up the Emperor of Arathor.

Anduin will no longer be a king... he'll be an emperor.
Why would he be emperor of Arathor?

In most cases, I think that they are not implemented at all. Hero Talents no doubt, especially for some classes, will change quite a bit, and so those special effects will have to change too.

What is clear, at least for the videos that I have seen, is that they will increase our power dramatically.

    Because:

    1) He comes from Stormwind, which was unique amongst Human kingdoms due to being founded by the last of the Arathor bloodline;

    2) He is named after Anduin Lothar, the actual last man of the Eastern Arathor bloodline;

    3) He is obviously set-up to bond with the Lothar girl from Hallowfall.

    4) He is already the main character of Hallowfall due to his crisis of faith, naturally his role will continue as the Arathi storyline progresses. They're not doing a sudden bait and switch and removing Anduin from the spotlight.

Put all these facts together and the writing on the wall becomes apparent.

One thing missing from Quel'thalas is verticality. Vertical development of zones is extremely important for Dragon Riding to work. Sure you can use your vigor to climb up and then sustain but it is far more satisfying to be able to go off from a high altitude (and you'd need to wait for vigor constantly when trying to herb/mine if the land is very flat).

A solution to this could be some form of flying landmass.
Also I think the Amani area can be expanded significantly. Making Zul'Aman a steep hill could give us more vertical areas.

Warriors have almost nothing as of latest patch and few others have the same situation, so pretty unfinished as of this moment.

-Thunder clap and slight thunders for mountain thane, but nothing too crazy.
-Slayer has slightly different color for execute, but the effect on target still has venthyr condemn red mist effect, so unfinished.
-Colossus i don't think i saw anything there besides demolish animation with not many effects, still uses venthyr red stuff for execute.

    1) Yeah but does he share a bloodline with the Emperor? Is he the one next in line? What do Kings/Emperors do when they conquer another Kingdom/Empire? It's probably going to become a Vassal state if anything. Assuming their Emperor is a badguy and will go against us or something.

    2) I don't know why that matters. If someone named their daughter Elizabeth she wouldn't take after the Queen died.

3)Is she the Emperor's daughter or something? Even if she is, she'd become the Empress if Anduin married her. He wouldn't have any say in how Arathor is ruled.

4)I agree, but that doesn't mean he will become Emperor of Arathor. King of Stormwind? Absolutely.

If you got all the perks of Dragon Riding you barely ever lose vigor anyway. Just fly at an angle and keep using the one ability that makes the mount flap its wings and go up a bit.

a flying island is something i could see for midnight, perhaps quel'danas as a flying island?

    Enforcer (Warden/Spellbreaker) Class Idea

I feel like they are going to have to do something with Lordaeron as it is on the border, and currently does not look good enough for a modern expansion.

At the very least, the border areas will need to look proper since we will be flying around them near constantly.

I did have this very different idea though. Keep the entire area instanced during Midnight. It's called Midnight, there should be a point to it. Imagine if the greater Quel'thalas area is behind a massive veil of night, half shifted into the void. This allows us to have void zones on the same map with Midnight Quel'thalas. And then at the last patch the veil drops and we get the new version of Quel'thalas but without the baggage of a war with the void added into the main map. Expansion content is available through a portal or something similar.

If we are going to see more Night Elves in Midnight (reuniting the elves) I do hope their druids help the Blood Elves recover Thas'alah.

I wonder if they will announce other characters? or is this the prerogative of only this

It would be the most straightforward way to bring Belves and Nelves together.
Restore the tree, restore the forest, restore their relationship.

But then, we just got a World Tree plotline and TWW is gonna have another tree to look out for.

So i don't know if Blizzard would want yet another magic tree involved for the 3rd time, even if it isn't really a World Tree this time (as far as we know).

Would Blood Elves really care about a tree though?

Yes? Thas'alah was the mother tree of Eversong. Restore the tree and you can restore the forest. I doubt the blood elves would feel comfortable in the Ghostlands in their current state.

It wouldn't have to be the main campaign. It could be the zone questline for that area.

    Why wouldn't they?
Their Farstriders and Rangers are very much still attuned to their forests.

And Thas'alah was the mother tree of the Eversong Woods, its restoration would be in their personal interest.

Fair. I was thinking more about druidic stuff in general. But if Ghostlands can be restored to their original state before the Scourge messed them up that'd be nice.

If they'd ever let blood elves be druids, I would hope it would involve Thas'alah tbh but that's because I generally wish they implemented new race/class combinations with more of a concept than a generic quest.

Given Anduin's cycle of imprisonment, it would be a missed opportunity to not put him in one of those Titan prisons in TFT
