The crooked shitposter with no eyes is watching from the endless thread.
From the space that is everywhere and nowhere, the crooked shitposter feasts on memes.
He has no eyes to see, but he dreams of infinite memeing and trolling.
It's more that the artificers are capable of technological wonders beyond anyone else. That was the key takeaway from that dialogue. It doesn't need to be a machine of the light, but it could be too.
Draenei: We destroyed one of the cosmic powers with our tech. (Burning Legion)
I mean, kinda hard to beat.
There is much you could do with this. Imagine using the Vindicaar Matrix Core Lightforged Warframe as the basis for a new class. Think how awesome that would be. It was so much fun in Legion with just the little bit you could use it, now imagine expanding that out.
I was also thinking it would be really cool to go even further. How about this:
New Hero Class
Vigilant
Vigilants are armored mechanical constructs inhabited by the souls of the greatest warriors of the eredar. Originally created by the Wakeners on Argus, vigilants can also be found as protectors of the draenei civilization on Draenor.

This could be a hero class in much the same vein as a demon hunter. You are someone who sacrificed your body to inhabit an artifice construct and defend your people. Now you can have a tech class that literally embodies technology, rather than just using tools. Which is more appropriate for a class. And although it does kind of bug me, transmog restricted classes are fully on the table with evokers (and races with mechagnomes). But I do think it's still better to keep such restrictions to the hero classes, and not regular ones if they ever do another.
I would have preferred the Nerubian city to the be the capital. A city hanging from the ceiling, very fantastical. And I like the jeweled/stained glass aesthetic of Heart of Fear and what I am seeing here. I'm glad dwarf fans are getting another capital but this just appeals to me more.

xal'atath is hot, and that makes her already 10 times better than handsome squidward
so the prepatch date kinda got called by an addon
all the things when used in remix shows the patch that removes thecremix items as 11.0 so preoatch when remix ends and launch a month after
Which makes it even funnier that that's the route they go with.
@Khaza-R
in so far as goblins were introduced as helping the orcs in the Second War and their roles in WC3 include selling Arthas zeppelins, helping clearcut bits of Ashenvale for Grom and Gazlowe himself utilized goblin sappers who's main move was the suicide bomb, I'd heavily disagree that their Cataclysm appearance is anything but contiguous. But even if it was, the pollution and the like are just markers for them as a materially motivated, individualist, risk-taking group of mostly comedic characters. Much like turning the orcs and undead into discoloured humans is all well and nice, making the goblins about the collective good and engineering eliminates the core gimmick of the race and doesn't replace it with anything. The WoW gnomes are already generally nice eccentric inventors.
Oh, that and every single Red Alliance leader sans Geya'rah and Talanji are the same guy. Oh sure, the size is different, so is the costume and sometimes they're green or have fur or what have you, but they're all a reluctant unambitious man/woman who just wants what's best who believes in non-denominational honor.

Dickmann's Law: As a discussion on the Lore forums becomes longer, the probability of the topic derailing to become about Sylvanas approaches 1.
Tinkers will be the next Class confirmed.

Even just making Gazlowe ambitious and framing this whole insufferable lecture as being obvious proof that his approach is better, because he used to be the head of one town but now by going on about this whole 'honor' spiel jhe's the head of a whole other Cartel and is, even as they speak, muscling in on the Steamwheedle, one of the biggest, would make him exponentially more interesting. Cooperation out of self-interest.

re: the ongoing tinker/artificer debate, while artificers would be easier to take seriously (given how inherently goofy goblin and gnome technology is) and easier to sell, tinkers are more iconic and deep-rooted in the lore. There's plenty to be said for the benefits of either. That said, if we do get tinkers, I'm going to hazard a guess it would be in TLT and they'd have an overt Titan-tech theme (i.e. effectively strike a balance between the contrasting artificer/tinker themes) added to tie them into the expansion and achieve the aforementioned effect of making them easier to take seriously.

It's an agonizing death all the same. Ask the Japanese and Vietnamese unfortunate enough to be melted.

re: goblin short story
Was a pretty good story, but i got a feeling it had a lot of reflection of how blizzard as a whole had to work under a certain other goblin until recently. It is all a big allegory to how short sighted monetary gains will leave the operation off for worse. I don't see anything socialist in it, as Gazlowe is still doing it for profit, just not in the horrible way Gallywix and other CEOs do it.
re: Thrall in the video
The video shows that Thrall still has a connection to the elements, but it seems to grow weaker. Who's to say that his lack of shaman abilities is tied to him? Perhaps what's going on in TWW is the cause for the elements not heading his call.
In a recent post, spoiler campaign. He is on top of the mountains in tww somewhere and he says he never felt this strong of a connection with the elements of air. So idk what thrall is even on about or doing at this point.
I am just done with him struggeling to find hes elements. We are hearing this since cata, then in wod cus of garrosh. I mean dude.. fix it already or gtfo is my opinion. Overrated character.
Funny how we're basically getting SL cast again. Jaina is once again shoehorned into the story she doesn't belong, just like in SL. And we even getting Sylvanas again. Well, her dollar store version at least.
There are so many characters in wow but Blizzard keeps bringing in the same old characters over and over again. In this regard DF truly felt like a breath of fresh air.
You may have noticed that the TWW cinematic is very similar to the Shadowlands cinematic. The style and storytelling is very similar to the writing of Shadowlands and TWW with one hand. Perhaps this is Golden's job until she was fired and only at the end or in the middle will we see the differences in the cinematic. Also, with Golden gone and Metzen returning, Thrall should take over Anduin's screen time.
