Pretty much, yeah. Shes the Gul'dan. The villain who is grounded enough to face and interact with the player, but in the end just has the goal of bringing in the big cosmic enemy (Sargeras and most likely Dimensius respectively).

Pretty much, Gul'dan is better of course, but she works for me for many of the same reasons he did. Also while the hot elf form is fine, they badly need to give her some tentacles or whatever for the boss fight. Sylvanas being an elf ghost inhabiting an elf body was grandfathered in, Xal'atath's elf meatsuit wearing out would be a good visual.

Also ten bucks on Xal's body tearing up or mutating ala Sarkareth in her fight. It would give her a reason she needs to possess Alleria and is an obvious fun fight transition.

Unfortunately her true form is probably a boring squid monster per the mural in AK.

I wonder if they will let us download the beta before it launches? I need to go run errands, but waiting another 10-15 mins to see if downloads become available while waiting on servers to come up.

Given they missed out on giving N'zoth a sea monster motif for whatever reason I wouldn't mind if her real form had the elf body dangling from a hook, like an angler fish, would let them have their cake and eat it too re: hot elves.

I did find it kind of odd that they could be, initially.

That would suck. There are so many cool Titan-forged Death Knight Hearthstone cards. Just reckon with death magic being extremely common the further back you go in the timeline. I'm hoping its just a clerical error like Kul Tiran Mages.
