I did find it kind of odd that they could be, initially.

Also seeing reports of beta download being up. May need to exit and re-log in to see it.
I'm guessing this got delayed to Midnight where the Scourge will return. They need a new DK intro for them and any new races introduced in that time.

giving people the beta for buying the expansion is lame.

Pretty sure I was more or less alone in saying the next expansion would be the finale of the Void Saga.

Pretty doubtful "everyone" was convinced when we had such a strong Elemental presence in DF.

Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

Why? They're just paying more to fatigue themselves faster with the expansion.

Wow went to make a hot dog and when I got back Beta was downloaded. That was fast.

Everyone is code for posters who shall remain nameless. "Everyone" was right about the stormriders being Earthen tho.

that's one of the reasons. basically tww is soft launching today. people are going to min max the crap out of it and are probably going to burned out before the actual release.

    1. No, Beta is not a "soft-launch" of expansion. We literally have bunch of people playing it every pre-expansion, regardless of pre-order. Did MoP soft-lanuched due to Annual Pass Beta invites?
    2. That is other people problem if they allow themselves to get burned out during Beta.

    That's a them problem.

I have no issues with it as long as they don't return here 2 weeks into launch complaining about how there's nothing to do.

You know they will, but hey, that's what the ignore function is for.

That's the level of testing a game needs so the launch isn't full of bugs.

it is a soft launch tho. the only thing missing is the seasonal content. you can experience quests and everything else tho. also, this time more people have access to it because people can actually buy access to the beta

Ye well, I just remembered that you are the guy who kept arguing that M+ population is so down despite having data thrown in his face. So sure. This is soft-launch and peeps will get burned. TWW is fucked.

Why pay for what you can get for free?

...and your characters not being deleted periodically?

The Beta currently is full & queued just to tell you no servers online when you get in: We are so back, baby!

It's really, really not. They get a *lot* of people testing, which will hopefully enable for a smoother launch. They did the same with MoP.

"its only missing the bulk of the content!"

not to mention many months of class tuning, profession updates, item tweaks, environment updates, UI improvements, bug fixes, hero talent VFX improvements, etc etc.

but yeah, totally a soft launch. you just sound bitter because you didnt buy it
