I like it. I main death knight, we can literally fly our class hall around, we can park it anywhere the new content is.
An in-game lorebible that has some kind of points or breadcrumbs leading you to rewards could be fun. Get some cosmetics and force people to soak up the lore.
Theres been almost no info or testing on outdoor endgame content this beta cycle. No idea why. Devs said they were changing world quests in some way. I want to know how outdoor content looks. Same as DF?

The reworked new/returning player stuff is desperately needed. I get what they were trying to do with the new experience thing they created a few years ago, but it feels a little too tutorial-y imo. Like if you need the basics of how to do quests explained in detail maybe the game isn't for you. I get its a different era, but you always hear about players falling in love with the game by just exploring whats out there and their first realization of just how big it is. Having a very simple tutorial mode followed by being forced into one very linear xpac where all the npcs are treating you like a big shot feels wrong.
Also the lore catch up/exploration has the potential to be very cool. Maybe be able to do a solo couple hour run through of each xpacs main story points including raids using the new story mode & follower dungeons.
Came across this once again.

Knowing Presence whispers:
With many eyes, they will see again. They will drink, and be uplifted.
Deeper, deeper its roots will reach. Welcoming our embrace.
Her dreams sing beneath the surface. Our dreams. Our song.

Here were the topics brought up. This reminds me I forgot the itemization overhaul mentioned as well. Maybe they're trying to make non-weapon/jewelry slots more than just stat sticks.
Scroll down a bit with WoW selected, here's where it was for me.

I haven't tried it, since the endgame server doesn't have open world stuff, but I can see on the new zone maps that there's a new thing called Special Assignments. It looks to be some kind of quest that you unlock after doing 3 World Quests in a specific zone, and it gives a cache that can contain Veteran gear. It looks like there's just one up at a time, and judging from the reset time I think you'll see two per week (changing at the same time as most of Dragonflight's launch WQs).

If they bring back class halls I do hope they revamp them considerably. We're definitely losing two as-is (the rogues' and mages', naturally), and some of the others are just...mediocre (hunters', warriors').
