Man the PTR being bait (for now) is sad. Really wanted to get on and test some of the reworked classes to help determine a main. Hopefully its up in not too long tho.

I could not give a shit, let alone 2 shits, about "player testing" the beta, burnout, lack of QA, or splitting the player base. Early access to content via pre-orders is one of Blizzard's MO's for quite some time now. People do not have to agree, and people can choose not to participate.
I, however, will choose to.
I remember one person here was dead set on the Algarian Stormrider being a jaina-Dazar-alor style elemental mount
First people thought it was pirates, then elementals
I was always on "Dwarf expac" since day one though and glad it turned out that way
(Im not biased I swear)
I'd love to see some sort of data about the mysterious "community" anyways. From my PoV as someone in their 30s, the concept of meeting strangers in games and being community is kinda dead. Community is whatever you want it to be now. A lot of people bring their outside friends into a game like WoW. I know some people might meet as individuals in guilds but then it turns into a friend group that proceeds to play other stuff together and becomes an outside friend situation. So I'm just not seeing why everyone needs to slapped together on the same boat like it makes a difference. Are we worried about matchmaking? Is that the issue? I just don't understand what this "community" is supposed to be if people already play the game with their friends anyways.
Which is the huge problem with Draenei tech in general, and why I don't think it's going to be part of the technology class.
I don't think we need to rebuild everything here. We simply need to utilize a derivative of the WC3 claw pack works just fine. Artist Author Lorenz did that perfectly here;If you're going to go backpack, have stuff that isn't weapons players are already wielding. Flamethrowers, buzzsaws, rayguns, Dr. Octopus arms, etc.

Not just in game dev, but any programmer or tester for any piece of hardware or software, or heck, any sort of equipment literally everywhere would agree that no matter how many QA testers you have, (You could have a thousand) you still wont be able to find or predict even a quarter of the bugs, problems and things regular users will find and do when they get their hands on it
No Earthen Death Knights? Could it be they actually want it to make sense? I sure hope so.
many saying that retail is incredibly unfriendly to new players is not in my imagination. blizzard itself admitted that. min maxing the crap out game before the expansion is even out only breeds toxicity and elitism. It's not a problem for me and it's not a problem for you because we're veterans of the game. also, making people pay for a beta is scummy, and that's enough to be against it. yeah, no one is getting forced but they're highly incentivized by the other perks they get. It's a business strategy
If they really did it means the devs also forgot the original Death Knights (Warcraft 2) weren't made by the Lich King. "Death Knights can only be made by the Lich King" was never true. You're saying this like these problems with the game are directly related to the Beta and/or each other. They're not.
not only is this just false, but wow is way more complex than ff14. and saying "the fact that there are bugs = QA bad" just further demonstrates your ignorance. Its an extremely common occurrence for QA to find bugs, report them, and have them go unfixed due to low priority. thats actually just how QA works. QA only FINDS the bugs, they dont fix them
bro mop remix and cata are falling apart. having minor bugs unfixed is normal (that's why i said with almost no bugs) but having major features not working is bad
Square enix having a dogshit server infrastructure=/=bugs. you are comparing different things lmao
