giving people the beta for buying the expansion is lame.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
Wow went to make a hot dog and when I got back Beta was downloaded. That was fast.
Lol my characters from the previous beta are still around
1. No, Beta is not a "soft-launch" of expansion. We literally have bunch of people playing it every pre-expansion, regardless of pre-order. Did MoP soft-lanuched due to Annual Pass Beta invites?
2. That is other people problem if they allow themselves to get burned out during Beta.

it is a soft launch tho. the only thing missing is the seasonal content. you can experience quests and everything else tho. also, this time more people have access to it because people can actually buy access to the beta

that's the level of testing WOW NEEDS because blizzard doesn't want to pay for qa

"its only missing the bulk of the content!"
not to mention many months of class tuning, profession updates, item tweaks, environment updates, UI improvements, bug fixes, hero talent VFX improvements, etc etc.
but yeah, totally a soft launch. you just sound bitter because you didnt buy it
I never said that (and i'm not gonna start that argument again). also, what's your point? do you think i'm just "dooming"? people min maxing everything before the expansion is even out is bad. yeah, we have the ptr (and i don't mind about that), but this goes beyond that.
