I wonder if in a hypothetical Undermine patch we were to see more jungle trolls being used for slave labor by goblins, in turn to be used as some form of bridge or lore sprinkle for the Amani in 12.0.

We've already had a bit of a hook to the Amani area during the Harbinger questline where a riftwalker reports void activity trail petering off in the direction of Zul'aman.

Interesting that most of the themes and races seem to appear or have the potential to appear at least twice in this saga, including Dragonflight.
Dragons: DF, TLT
Tuskarr: DF, TLT
Oracles: DF, TLT
Nerubians: TWW, TLT
Scourge: Midnight, TLT
Scarlets: Midnight(?), TLT
Trolls: Midnight, TLT
Titans/Titanforged: DF, TWW, TLT
The Vrykul are like the one Northrend thing that is exclusive to TLT so I am expecting some heavy rehauling of them to carry the expansion, considering how much reused stuff will appear in the expansion (probably to get ready for a model-intensive expansion after TLT). And I guess the Wolvarr.
expecting a prepatch date announce this week

After a cursory glance of Dawntrail and the reactions, I am glad that we are once again not close with the main characters nor are we directly serving any of them.

So definitely no mini series for War Within? Surely they'd have announced it by now

Actually, just checked and Legacies was announced 5 weeks before Dragonflight launch, so they could be announcing it mid to late july by the same pattern
Obviously it will be Anduin, Thrall, Alleria and Xal'athath this time if they are doing it

Maybe you could give them feedback that reminds them that treasure should feel like treasure.
Less plentiful, more impactful.
Maybe make it so only the X first ones each week are like that so that people don't focus them too much.
Treasures should be much less common than ie. herbs and minerals imo.

Yet also as humble as health and humor permit.
Furthermore, I consider that Carthage Slam must be destroyed.

Yeah, patch 23rd July, event week later, there is no big mystery there. Unless of course something change, but that could happen as well after official annoucement.
Don't know if so long event is good to be honest, this pre-patch look more similar to DF/SL than Legion/BfA when every week of event story was moving forward. Personally first time I won't be here on pre-patch launch and will go back to game like week before TWW (but that could be also because of Remix, never before last months were so busy).
Pre-patch events have been really mid and stale for a long time, and I don't expect it to change now. Bosses and mobs spawning on a timer in different parts of the world, dropping vanity items and gear irrelevant if you have been playing the game on a high lvl.
The only thing that may change it is Dalaran event (or part of it) happening.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
"We're more of the love, blood, and rhetoric school. Well, we can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, and we can do you blood and rhetoric without the love, and we can do you all three concurrent or consecutive. But we can't give you love and rhetoric without the blood. Blood is compulsory. They're all blood, you see." ― Tom Stoppard, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
I guess the developers might consider it wasted time to make a really in-depth pre-patch when it will disappear completely after just a month, but I do definitely miss the Legion-pre-patch in terms of scale.
Probably difficult to justify an invasion of a similar scale for TWW for a copy-paste of the Legion event, but still. Something that isnt just waiting for the event boss to spawn on a set timer would be nice, even if I appreciate that you actually have to travel around EK and Kalimdor for this one, as opposed to the SL one just following a set route in Icecrown, or later parking as many alts as possible around Bronjahm.

Having such an extensive chunk of lore (regardless of its poor quality) vanish from the game is dumb to begin with IMO. A new-ish players can't possibly make heads or tails of what happens in BfA because all the inciting elements of the war aren't there anymore, and while the burning of the tree has been hammered into us as a plot point for three expansions in a row you can't even see the events leading to up that as well. It's pretty silly.

The internet: where to every action is opposed an unequal overreaction.
You quote "banned" as if that's what Cheezits said verbatim.
I don't think it's unreasonable to assume the backlash at the temporary nature of prepatches covering something as big in lore as the burning of Teldrassil is a reason for some of the more lackluster prepatch events we see now.
That's why the destruction of Dalaran happens in the opening questline and not the prepatch. It's an event that deserves to be available for more than a 4 week period.
