Yes. I've also read on the official forums and X that Chronicles IV confirms, once again, that the Horde de-facto started the war in Cataclysm.

Just so that people can finally stop painting High King Varian as some crazy villain.

I don't think the Pandarians would describe it that way, considering the Alliance were the first to colonize one of their ancient temples.

Weren't the Horde the first ones to actually build bases across Pandaria tho? Or at least, that's what I thought?

Imagine if a foreign nation started moving into Detroit because it was "abandoned." That would still be colonization. That mogu fortress is literally 30 feet from a Pandarian town, double that distance from the literal capital of Pandaria.

Speak for yourself. I care and I take it seriously and I find the "changes" (more like confirmations) made to BfA both creative and unique.

Maybe for a select few I guess, but it simply doesn't matter anymore.

Is it? The main storylines for the past 2 expansions have been pretty hefty duds, while the side stories are lauded. Leveling/questing is clearly a minority interest in WoW nowadays, so rushing the MSQ a bit and allowing lore interest to be spread through zone local quests that are optional and reward things like cosmetics or just for lore enjoyment is a nice compromise considering we'll never return to Vanilla-adjacent questing in the game.

Anyway-- anyone think yesterday's update pushed to today could be our music build??

There's certainly issues with it, but colonisation isn't even on the list.

Neither the Alliance or Horde appeared to have build any installations on Pandaria with the intention of permanently re-settling citizens there. Their involvement was military control and to ultimately exploit Pandaria for its resources.

No, they aren't.

You literally can't have colonization without settlers taking over an area of another country. Which didn't happen in Pandaria or wasn't depicted. A military installation is not a colony.
