Remember Tyr. If his body is still (mostly) intact, bringing him back should be fairly trivial compared to that.

It's a shame Highkeeper Ra died. I would have loved to see his interactions with the Pantheon once they return to Azeroth. Dude was in major depressive despair for thousands of years, held captive and drained of his power for even longer, and believed his creators to be dead. I wish he could have gotten some closure before his death.
Given that Tyr returned, I wouldn't necessarily assume that any Keepers are truly dead for good just yet, especially with the Titans returning. They may well have failsafes of their own that the Pantheon can activate to recreate them (with or without all their memories).

I'm also curious to see if Eonar herself might side with us as well like some speculate, since she seems very sympathetic to Life and went against Aman'Thul in the past for it.

Entirely depends on whether Archaedas is dormant and his conciousness/memories are still intact, or if we beat him to the point that it uninstalled. With Tyr we were lucky enough to have a backup of his conciousness/memories; we might not have such a measure for Archaedas.

But it is interesting that they have used him in such an image in Chronicles AND given him a new design to boot (well, a new design that isn't the basic hooded titan watcher model used since Vanilla).

On the topic of watchers, the Uldum watchers REALLY got shafted. Every other watcher/keeper has gotten development/characterization. And the Uldum group got squat. ARCHAEDAS AND IRONAYA got an upgrade from being just generic titanforged to friends of Tyr who rebelled and fled Ulduar.

Wouldn't be shocked if Undermine were the megadungeon tbh

Megadungeons are usually cities/hubs, given Blizzards track record with them

If 11.1 is Undermine, then I suspect 11.0.7 will be roots area as Forbidden Reach 2.0 with Harronir race.

But I think we won't hear about 11.1 until late January. Roadmap won't spoil it and I don't think Gamescom will have more than launch trailer (maybe CGI one like we had for SL/DL?), at most preview of anniversary event if it's big enough.

Don’t think the roots will be a .0.7 patch only bc the map for it is (allegedly) the same size as the Ringing Deeps. Don’t think we’ve ever had a minor patch give us a full sized zone before.

I think it’ll be .0.7 return to Kezan with Undermine megadungeon & roots for 11.1.
    (Or Kezan/Undermine for 11.1.5)

I don't want to relaunch the debate, but there will likely be two main patches in TWW, enough to fit Undermine AND rootlands. Like, wev'e datamined a few icons related to the ethereal in a raid where there is one anyway, and suddenly people believe that 11.2 will be related to it ?

Can't really imagine other TWW ending than world soul chamber. But of course it could be somewhere in the rootlands if they are as big as you say.

Better speculate about 11.X patches than BfA in 2024 or pointless lore discussions.

the very unique weapon that is dropped by the ethereal boss

    https://www.wowhead.com/beta/item=21...ers-warp-blade

    uses this icon
    inv_hand_1h_nerubianraid_d_02_blue

While one other items uses this ethereal raid icon

    https://www.wowhead.com/beta/item=22...us-transmitter

    inv_etherealraid_communicator_color1

it is strange that one item uses nerubain raid, which is fitting, and a random trinket that you don't even see, uses ethereal raid?
Perhaps they had a few icons finished from the ethereal raid and put it into the game early.

I don't think we reach the world soul in TWW, it will happen in TLT with the titan machines there.

There are only two places i can imagine TWW to end: Beledar or Sargeras Sword.

    - - - Updated - - -

by the by, with the recent discussion about first ones, jailor and other stuff.

With TLT we return to Northrend, the location where the jailor used the machines under icecrown to siphon the energy of azeroth. Perhaps this will be our entry to the world soul. A reverse icecrown citadel, where we don't go up, but down.

We're gonna see the soul of Azeroth in The War Within btw

If I remember correctly, we also have icon with "goblinraid", and apparently the rootlands are supposed to be a big zone. So maybe the ethereals could have something to do Undermine or the rootlands ? I really don't see them doing a big Ethereal zone like Karesh before Midnight.

If we assume Worldsouls aren't naturally Titans, what do y'all think they represent then? Cause, IF they aren't Titans naturally, I have my own theory on the matter

i think Rootlands + Goblinraid is a strong combination that can work. It has a classic nature versus machine theme. Also, i do not think we will go to K'aresh. Personaly i think not at all, but if then more then likely in Midnight not TWW. The ethereal raid, i woudl currently place in/around the Beledar.

Currently, i think they are "raw" cosmic matter. Pure energy. Cosmic forces can probably sway the alignment of the souls in one direction or the other. We know of only one world soul that manifested so far, Argus. Yet, argus looked like a Titan... but he was supposedly completely aligned with death magic, thus his crash into the arbiter in the shadowlands. I think argus was the same "thing" as the titans of the pantheon, and what sargeras is. But about azeroth world souls? now, it seems to be special. It could be a the seventh first one, the one that is nothing and all.
