Well that's clearly not true or else earthen would never have existed and we'd have tatoo'd blue eyed blood elves people have been wanting. I don't think races in general sell as much as people think they do anymore. The majority of people got the races they want i think and anymore added will just be called "neat" and mostly not played.
For me personally I just like any new race we get, Variety is the spice of life!, just no more Orcs and elves for a long while.

you know what? sure buddy you win!
Win, what? I haven't won anything. I wish Dracthyr used the Female Void Elf model, sadly Blizzard always forgets about the Elves.
We are literally going to an entire subterranean empire of Half-Elves and yet playable Half-Elves are nowhere to be seen.
Since Blizzard hates Elves, I already expect Midnight, the Elven Kingdom expansion, to bring playable Forest Trolls.
Yea its optional, But the dragon form doesn't feel like its main form if you can't have more then 2 pieces of armor of your mog visible. It's just a glorified druid transformation.
I'd except it more if you got to choose a different race and not just an elf with a road rash.

That's actually what ruins Evoker the most for me- it's incredibly difficult to find any gear that actually matches the barbershop armors colors. It feels like none of the evoker sets were even designed with that in mind- at the very least, a secondary color will clash horribly with your other gear.
What? No, that has nothing to do with the issue at all. Sure, I'm considering making a Mage or Warlock Dracthyr when that happens, but I still wouldn't be able to play an Evoker without being forced to use a clown suit in combat.
I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I actually like the dragon form in theory, and I'm fine with the idea behind the barber shop armor. But when you can't even make it match well with the gear that's made specifically for Evokers, it's clear that the current implementation isn't good enough.
I don't know how difficult it'd be to implement, but I think the best way to address this would be to split the Armor Color choice into three color options, so you can choose your own color for each part of the armor instead of picking a premade combination. That way you could just create a mix to fit any set, like- for an example that annoyed me personally a lot- you could choose green and bronze instead of green and silver, so it would actually match the Heroic Amirdrassil set.
It'd also be amazing if they added more unlockable barbershop armor options over time, but I don't see that happening, at least not frequently. It would also help if they let you choose different transmogs for each form. Regardless, the current implementation definitely isn't adequate- it makes it difficult to enjoy a class that I otherwise liked.
I agree with that statement, really like the lizard, I mean dragon form, even with the silly worgen skipping.
But like you've said, its so weird that they would produce elaborate armor sets and then have then be invisible (due to dragon form) 90% of the time and have shoulders just not match with any available cosmetic options.
Dont want to think that potentially there's an art department doing amazing work without having a single clue about the class / race they are working for (hence the missmatching colors).
Its kinda weird that they could either start matching the colors of future armors, introduce more armor color options, allow more armor pieces to show or go the druid route and add more Dragon forms (for instance a void dragon like sarkareth p3 or maybe a four feet dragonkin).
It just feels like they either dont know what direction they want to go or they were / are in a time rush so its all just bandaids to be fixed...never
Shorts will be released soon (3 weeks) they will be about
1. Earthen
2. Hallowfall (most about the new DEI character )
3. Nerubian and Xal'atath
According to the source, it will be well written about the Earthen, the other two will be cringe...
Cringe level equal to "Star Wars Acolyte"
I'm a little disappointed, I thought that Alleria and Thrall would get their shorts, zero hype level
It feels earthen ar an AR because they were already using them as the main NPC faction, and they share most animations with dwarves so they were low effort. The are some tiers behind SL's customization overhaul, you can't even choose moustache and beard separately and they don't have a cool racial like dark irons.
