I suppose the only question that'd be left, is figuring out who'd be the obvious main Horde character rep for the expansion. Since Dragonflight has so far taken a break from the usual main cast outside of Baine.
Oh hey they could even use more of Tandred as well.
A part of me thinks the Zandalari should be a choice given their armada, but also would lead to feeling a lot like a re-thread, as well as not having that many lore relevant characters, with Talanji herself feeling far more Loa related.
Besides Zandalari, I guess Goblins are the other Horde race with any notable seafaring capabilities? Also the contrast between Kul Tiran and Bilgewater seafaring technology would be pretty interesting.
so people get infracted for no reason other than someone disagreed with their point of view ? oO'
Pretty sure people got infracted for derailing the thread yet again.
And here we go.
Low effort AI images.
Maybe next time load them into Photoshop and try to make them less obviously fake looking.
And leave characters out, they will always end up looking horrendous and out of place.

POSTCRIPT 2: Do we know if 10.1.5 megadungeon has a cinematic at the end? I guess that Nozdormu will turn into Murozond if that is the case.

I would hope that we would instead take the Dragonflight route and use characters that are actually related to the narrative instead of shoehorning in Alliance and Horde characters. I’d love to see Booty Bay as a launching point for both factions. Maybe even revamp it and make it the hub.
Won't happen. The whole Point of the Dungeon is to prevent daios from forcefully transforming nozdormu into murozond.
Maybe we will see a cutscene of a conversation between nozdormu and chromie or a little teaser of whats iridikron is up to after the Dungeon. But i wouldn't count on it.
I think it actually manages to hit squarely in uncanny valley. Good enough to pass to an automated system, but just off enough that it triggers our emergency response systems.

Who knows. But he only has to happen. He doesn't have to happen now, or even any time soon. Theoretically, it doesn't even have to happen in WoW.
I don't think the Megadungeon would make sense, though. Murozond so far seems to have believed that our current timeline is much worse than whatever he is trying to accomplish. Nozdormu has not yet gone through anything to make him think so. Deios is doing this the wrong way, trying to force the result; it wouldn't give him the "real" Murozond, who has to fall by his own claw.
Our Nozdormu, sure. But the mere fact that we have both Chromie & Morchie shows that it's possible to have more than one version of a Bronze Dragon in the same place at the same time.
I could absolutely see a Nozdormu becoming Murozond in the dungeon to create that character, even if it's not our own.
Not really. It was the usual suspects going over lore and past expansion events, none of which fit for future speculation. I think the mention of the Legion returning as a story element for future expansions was nothing but a footnote in the sea of lore arguing of past expansions. I’ve no idea why Nymrohd is the only one ever being banned though, as there are a lot more prominent derailers.
If for that reason you think this thread will see a decline in activity then I’m sure I won’t be alone in being thankful for that. I’d rather see two pages of speculation and theory discussion as opposed to 5+ of irrelevant lore discussion.
It’s been said numerous times but if you want to discuss the general lore of WoW, you have a sub forum right there for you.
I mean, Nozdormu needs to happen in this expansion, the dungeon's name is Dawn of the Infinite, so chances are that things will go their way. If not now when?
We know that a Timewalking rework / revamp is happening. I really doubt that 10.1.5 would be the last time we deal with the Infinites in DF. Hell, Nozdormu is, with Emberthal, the main character of the Legacies videos, plus Nozdormu is shown in the art work of the expansion.
Anyway, we will soon know. 10.1.5 has to arrive before mid-july. What really intrigues me is that model of Alexstrasza without horns, she looks just like a common elf. I do not know how someone could strip her off her Drakonid powers.

The "model of Alexstrasza without horns" isn't a new model or anything.
It's literally just the current model with all the 3D armor deleted off of it. That's why the black clothing looks so bad and placed seemingly randomly, because those are the very few 2D "armor pieces". That's also why the toes are cut off while the top part of the foot is visible; the toes are completely covered by the toe-armour while the foot has a hole-y armor.
Stiven never said it's a new model. It's not actually added to the game. It's just a fun thing he did.
