the scarlets and their false heir are still out there

he never lied to her
the only thing we ever see him doing is being evil
the first time he interacts with us he is literally attempting to enslave us and the leaders
anduin called sylvanas out about her being arthas
the guy even told her when they first met "you will serve me because these things will come to pass"
It's somewhat of a major point that their edict is to guard the Coreway. They aren't allowed to leave the Isle of Dorn at all, hence the Machine Speakers are technically breaking the edict while still actually following it in spirit by maintaining machines in the Ringing Deeps. We convince the earthen to bend the edict to stop the threat to the Coreway before it actually reaches the Coreway.
We don't have much reason to think that the memory wipe is for any reason other than that they stop working properly when they have too many memories. At one point we can see that when their memory is full, their memories start to leak out and physically manifest as fog monsters. But the pre-patch event is all about memories, so it would be interesting if that actually went somewhere.
I'm not sure there's any interaction between harronir and earthen thus far, or any comment from the harronir that could be taken to be referring to the earthen. But most of their lore thus far is either via banter or shown directly to us since they aren't allowed to tell us anything directly, so it can be easy to miss.
That's wrong. He literally told Sylvanas that he wanted her to he a co-worker for him, and that he wouldn't do any of that "serve me" shit on her. It would be the two of them remaking the cosmos as equal partners. That's what he told Sylvanas, and that's what Sylvanas thought throughout the first half of SL.
Zovaal was gonna enslave everyone else, but to Sylvanas, it was for a "greater good".
However, in reality, Zovaal duped her and simply saw her as another tool for his plans. There was no "equal partnership" involved at all. The Devil quite literally tricked her. Not to mention he fooled her motive-wise as well, saying shit like "oh yeah, we'll reforge the cosmos to be just and fair" even tho he actually wanted everything to be chained up, full of torment, etc.

Good change for the infrastructure, although I'm wondering if this also includes the ability to merge bnet accounts. Back when they created Bnet this was needed if you had two wow accounts (I know I had to do it in order to get my classic/tbc char back since I started a new account during wotlk), but honestly everyone who wanted to do that had more than enough time and the service itself was mostly used as a loophole to get stuff from third parties.
If true, that surely enables them to do stuff like "you can farm one old elite set/glad mount during a season by playing rated pvp but you can never catch up" without a tiny amount of people just spamming bnet accounts and merging them after a season ends. Honestly, I'm wondering how many goblins actually used that method to get more trading post stuff?
I just wish they would find a way to merge the data of different regions.
Started my WoW journey on the US realms, then had to play on EU for a couple years and now I'm back on US. Feels bad to have awesome things (like WoD challenge mode weapons) on EU and unable to access it on US.
Not even asking to transfer characters, just for it to check the achivements or w/e and give the rewards / check for unlocked transmogs.
Last time they talked about it it surely seemed like it's mostly a spaghetti code issue, but yee, simply merging us and eu collections would solve most issues people seem to have. Another problem would be, if you allow that, shouldn't you also allow chinese accounts to share the same collection, which opens up a WHOLE can of worms thanks to netease releasing stuff that's not available on EU/US retail (stuff like the new netease bear, spectral tigers in their blizz store etc).
Last but not least I'm still thinking they should either merge classic and retail collections (even if it's just oneway for retail) or make a season of legacy that ends with the classic chars on retail, not on classic thus enabling us collecting old stuff. At that point it would be just another version of remix tbh.
Anduin - becomes the ruler of Avaloren.
Faerin - becomes the ruler/queen of Stormwind.
That would be an interesting switch.
Plus I was never against the idea of Anduin being the king. Just his own, not like his father. That was the main idea behind his development in Legion and BfA's cinematic (the last thing Metzen worked on before leaving).
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
