There's apparently a new login screen as well that was datamined.

I don't know about the music though. During DF's beta the login screen music was 2 minutes long, and people complained, then the 10 minute version was revealed before pre-patch (I think). But we're already at pre-patch and it's still only 2 minutes long.

Sure about that? It was released on WoW youtube channel 31st October (can't see any earlier videos from wowhead or such), prepatch was 25th October.

Anyway, all these dates are too close to eachother to draw any conclusions. DF animated mini series premiered with pre-patch, now we don't even have trailer, but no one would be surprised if trailer drops tomorrow.

Oh, my bad then. If that's the case we might be getting it next week, but probably before the official release at least.

Still class locked sadly, but you can get the av via battleground blitz next season.

I haven't been checking on rumors/leaks recently - is there any information about the animated shorts series for The War Within, like Warbringers/Harbingers and so on? Has that been teased, or there's no info whether they would even go for these this time?

I found that to be positive. For instance, I made a paladin in remix specifically to farm all the shield appearances and the poleaxes. It gave a reason to make more than one thing. But then again I also enjoy making new characters.

Maybe I would have agreed if the upgrade cost reduction was account wide.

Still, not all bad. I did enjoy farming appearances to get most of the stuff I really wanted, like some of the unused staves and low fantasy stuff like the jinyu swords and book off hands.

Not sure how you would fix that for future versions without just adding ensembles, but maybe there is something's Ng that can be done.

Usually there are places in game where you can see them, isn't there? Meaning you would go there on the beta and just get the placeholder cinematic.

There have been some criticisms from the community towards the current War Within login screen, and this could be Blizzard looking to address this by changing it! You can see that the data indicates that the new login screen will have:

• A Ring
• Scrolling Clouds
• Bushes
• A Foreground, Midground and Background
• Background Braziers

At this moment, we cannot see what these new Login screen looks like.

It sounds like Dornagal, although the "ring" doesn't really match the scenery. My theory is that they do not want to give up on the central ring, as they want to have it as a common denominator througout the saga. At the same time, to compromise with people feeling that in its current iteration it is claustrophobic and too much of a break from tradition, they will swap the "wall" in the background for an actual scenery, with an abstract ring hovering in the middle, rising from the ground, partially covered by clouds.
