WoW players are literally incapable of handling change.
The idea of the login screen changing over the trilogy is way more interesting than more generic scenery that you see for 3 seconds.

Sigh, and Blizzard is once again catering to that small but vocal minority of toxic manbabies. It's no wonder why developers hate modern gamers. Making artists work on yet another login screen just because some toxic guys don't like the changes. Newsflash: TWW opens a new chapter in the history of WoW and the login screen should definitely reflect this. If you don't like it, just don't play WoW. It's not for you anymore.
I kinda believe that the current login screen and the alleged new one are connected in some way, as in the devs didn't make a whole new login screen to appease complaints about the current one, and had always intended for the current one to exist as the Worldsoul Saga-themed prelude that opens to reveal the traditional expansion login screen.
Man Blizz cranked the difficulty on old raids after the patch. Use to be able to solo Sepulcher of the First ones with little issue. Post patch I'm now struggling just in Castle Nathria
They might be trying to incentivize *gasp* people playing together.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
Doesn't this happen almost every expansion? I remember people saying they struggled to solo BfA raids in the beginning of DF.
Yeah, it's just byproduct of messing with whole game. Strange they often ignore activity that is so popular, especially on patch day where it's main thing to do with recent transmog changes.
I think it's an extremely bad idea to continue to lock static (original) flight behind a pathfinder achievement. Static flight clearly isn't a reward, and for the most part is only used by people who have accessibility issues with dynamic flight (a number of people in my guild). All this does is force people who struggle with dynamic flight force them to use it.
Ya seems it was Shadowlands and BFA raids that had their difficulty buffed
Sucks they were buffed when tons of people are looking to no doubt go solo the old stuff due to the warband transmog collecting changes
Yeah, and the amount of whining about the login screen was so strange to me. Its not like we even see it that much anymore, anyway.
Also, random question. Does the Vigor UI always stay on screen now? Or is there a way to toggle it off when you're not mounted?
edit: Nevermind, that seems bugged on one of my characters.

You hate dracthyr because you hate scalies, I hate dracthyr because I'm a scalie and know naga are better. We are not the same.
It's not really more interesting if that "change" is just the same simple geometry getting a void-corrupted effect and then becoming more activated and titan-y. The benefit of a cohesive progression of a title screen across three expansions is not such that it outweighs getting three different actually interesting and unique landscape screens. It's a bit hard to take your reasoning seriously when you're unironically calling scenery "generic" while advocating for three iterations of a wholly generic celtic-inspired geometric design.
This is also a bit evasive. The fact is, they could have done BOTH a progressive, changing login screen AND something visually interesting, if they wanted to have that cohesive element, rather than just the first part. The issue isn't change, but the complete lack of interesting visual the current iteration provides. No one would be complaining if it were a really cool and actually interesting screen that changes.
They could have done something like this:
Or even just a 3D scene of the world soul, that in TWW has roots growing towards it, and in Midnight has void tendrils/clouds, and in TLT has titan machinery.
Instead what we have now reads like just a website background, or mobile game loading screen. In fact, it is literally partially made out of the TWW website elements:

... because a wall with a circle in the middle is more interesting?
I swear, people were so much more creative back in the day with how they responded to criticism. Back in the day, it was always "you just don't get it" or "it's ahead of it's time" or "I always meant for it to be bad". Nowadays people can just assert that all complaints, no matter how numerous, actually originate from a small sect of hypernegative losers insistent on destroying everything they love with their entitlement.
I hate to have to break it to you, but you seem to be immersed in the misconception that what is new and what is good are the same. Something you have to learn is that progress for its own sake is not inherently good unless the goal it's working towards is desirable.

Well that's better.
