He didn't say Worldclaimed, he said Woldclaimed
A wold is a English term for a steep hill or can be latin for Forest. Another coincidence.
You'll find them everywhere in Dornogal or Isle of Dorn roaming on their own so they're definitely not dead. They're doing what I said.

Dead or simply inactive? maybe they can be reactivated?
Anyone experiencing some micro-stuttering in Delves? I started getting it last week, literally the only place it happens is in every Delve I have tried so far - every moving model (NPCS, my character, objects with animations (like the steam pumps in Waterworks) has a slight stutter in its movement after a certain distance. It's not an FPS drop from what I can tell, it's a consistent micro-pause in the models' movements.
It's not game-breaking, but it's near-distracting when trying to do Delves.

Part of the reason is that Battlegrounds are like ducks.
This is a good point too. Earthens going inert or shutting down has been shown in different ways than just allowing the forest to take over them.
Plus the flowing water on their staff is interesting to me. It could very well be nothing, but I think it's an interesting piece of worldbuilding that begs to be questioned further.
https://www.wowhead.com/news/datamin...-murloc-346495
Now datamined, sylvanas set for 850 tenders, im quite surprised that they didn't save it to sell as shop item, i bet there will be something new on the store around that time but yeah, i think it's pretty cool that we won't have to pay for that.
Plus the shop lo'gosh set and blue one datamined for 850 each and sword.
Even as not the biggest sylvanas fan, it's a really nice set mog, hopefully there will be more armor sets in the future that are based on azeroth heroes, it's usually the only thing i buy in other mmos i play.
Pretty sure they know of them, but if anything the harronir are influenced by them. The ingame book tells us that the harronir arrived much later than freya. I think the harronir learned how to protect the roots from the freysworn.
The woldclaimed freysworn are most likely just dead ones. They seem to be in opposition to the titans and probably chose to power down somewhere in nature. This way they don't return to the titan machines and keep their memories for themselves which is very much in line with the philosophy the freysworn and harronir share.
I just don't know yet how the thraegar fit into all of this. They also seem to be connected to the rootlands and azeroth, but there is so little information about them.
Given it is rep commendations I assume Timewalking Badges?

Well the changes for the raid seem to be active in the PTR but the timewalking versions of the dungeons don't seem to have proper loot tables or any changes to the bosses. Still think they will look like crap compared to anything modern.
They probably could get reactivated. That is afterall what the giant machine the Earthen Spawn from does. The issue is keeping the personalities inherent to the bodies, which is the part that degrades and is irreplaceable.
The life cycle of the Earthen used to be that they would eventually go into the machine whose name escapes me, and have their bodies revitalized, and their memories wiped so they would be ready to perform their duties again. However this did in effect kill the Earthen.
The world revamp dream will never die!

You could probably fix and reactivate any Earthen that doesn't have their memory gem shattered. But yeah, there's the problem of them losing their memories and identity.
Though i imagine with the proper knowledge and tools it would be perfectly possible to give them more storage space and recharge them without wiping the memory.

Well, in that case. You're right but you looked at the wrong NPC's.
These are the fellas in question who you were meant to be asking about
https://www.wowhead.com/npc=219334/freysworn-arborist
As said above, they're using the Druid Cataclysm Arena set attire, they used Druid magic in the first stages of the Beta but it was changed to Shaman magic so it wont give any false hope about Earthern Druids and if you interact with them they tell you they're practising Druid magic. And an Arborist is someone who diagnoses a tree's health.
I think the conclusions are there for everyone to see
