My theory is that whatever happens to Khadgar and Dalaran will play directly into the new race, if any, that comes with Midnight.

It would fit both Naga and Ethereals for Dalaran to get thrown somewhere near them (underwater, K'aresh) and Khadgar could work with them to make them allies, all while fitting with the "happens before the expansion" starting zone timeline. Both races have that Arcane tie.

If Azeroth saw a "city in flames in Khaz Algar", and the city is Dalaran, was Azeroth sending them there to die?

Nah, clearly he is getting polymorphed into a wheelchair.

I've been pointing out since the very first datamined build that it's super suspicious that the only thing in the "crash" region is the single central tower. For what should be a huge set piece, it's very odd that only a single segment is around.

The short story was good overall imo but they should have done a better job at showing why she started using the Void, though it was way too random amd without much context.

The cinematics and shorts are cool for current players but not very good at hyping new people or players who left the game long ago, likes the SL or BFA cinematics were.

Having a hard time trying to convince a couple of friends to come back and blizzard is not making it easier. The original TWW cinematic is horrible for this.

There aren't Nerubian-themed transmog sets (besides the renown set of three items) and not a lot of mounts available at launch. I wonder if there will be more of them available in another patch?

Yeah that confused me a bit.
Every zone has its own distinct armour and weapon theme, the nerubian zone has no apparent themed gear besides the stuff in the raid.

Perhaps becausew they expect to use them again when we get back to Northrend, they are holding onto most heavy nerubian gear.

But the Northrend Nerubians are all dead besides a very small amount who are currently re-breeding (and will surely re-connect once we liberate the ones from Khaz Algar). I doubt we will fight Nerubians in Northrend again, and having another major renown for them so soon after TWW would also feel a bit weird, wouldn't it?

Edit: We also know from Threads of Fate that Nerubians seem to grow a bit faster than humans so having a small faction of them there will defo happen, but I doubt we will fight them again, or get another Nerubian raid tier.

And the tier sets are not very nerubian at all.

Which is because people disliked "themed" tier sets in Sepulcher and Vault so they went back to raid agnostic class sets again. Tbf, the way they did it in Amirdrassil with the dream themed outdoor sets worked quite well but this time they choose Hallowfall for that instead of the raid zone. I mean we could see some Nerubian stuff for the 0.5 patch but I somewhat doubt we will get a Nerubian version of Forbidden Reach, instead it seems like Rootlands, Kezan and Ka'resh will be the themes of the patch outdoor sets.

    Alleria looks so fit.

When are female elves getting a body customization option like this?

There are only so many raid quality sets you could realistically make, so I get it.
I wonder if the solution is to instead of making thirteen non themed tier sets for he first raid, whether it is better to make four themed sets, and then use the remaining time saved on making all the that are at launch that quality. Levelling and dungeon sets specifically.

Might be a bit of a hard sell to those that really want class themed sets, but I think having levelling and dungeon sets at that quality would be a good tradeoff for the launch content.
The remaining patches would of course have one outdoor set, and thirteen class sets from raids.
The world revamp dream will never die!

The DH tier set is pretty bug-like, I love it.
I'm also hoping for some more nerubian transmog - the spidery/egyptian look is pretty cool. Personally I think the best route is to make sets which are both class and raid themed - which Blizz do most of the time to some degree

Yeah but the DH tier set is more themed after the spider demons of Legion than the actual Nerubians.

Themed tier sets for each class is good, the problem with sepulcher is that they went too far and most of the sets look the same/interchangeable, similar to the philosophy of BFA and SL sets where there was 1 for each armor type. And it's a bit concerning that the outdoor sets look so much better than raid tier sets... the same happenned in amirdrassil with most sets.

I mean it's objective because imo the Amirdrassil sets were a banger, actually worth it to get most elite sets from them too 'cause they were so awesome. Unlike TWW s1 were most elite sets besides mage and druid got the worst colours this time haha.

100% we are getting Azjol-Nerub as a zone in TLT.

How many years have passed since we were there? Blizzard can come up with any excuse to make us fight or support the Nerubians of Northrend.

What are we thinking about Gamescom? They are going to promote WoW big time trying to recover old players, but they also need to create hype for current players. I think that patch 11.0.5 might be bigger than expected, being the celebration of the 20th anniversary. In 10.0.5 we got something as big as the Trading Post, so we might get another evergreen system. A revamp of the Timewalking system could be BIG and it will be the perfect time to introduce it.

Also, I would not discard the announcement of WoW in consoles. Again, it will be the perfect time to do it, at the start of a new WoW chapter, and it will certainly bring a lot of hype and attention to the game.

I got the pala elite set even though it sucked, But I'm mainly a paladin player. I hate feeling forced to get elite sets on alts, I prefer when they are not the main/best recolor of the set.

We'll see if the rated solo BGs are better to play than solo arena, which sucks.
