I got the pala elite set even though it sucked, But I'm mainly a paladin player. I hate feeling forced to get elite sets on alts, I prefer when they are not the main/best recolor of the set.

We'll see if the rated solo BGs are better to play than solo arena, which sucks.

What's bad about it? Toxic players or the system?

Yeah I know what you mean haha. Like it's nice to get the elite set on a few chars but it feels quite stressful if you feel like you have to get them all haha.

Tbh, so far low-rated/MMR solo BGs were just annoying. But that’s not really a system flaw but more players not playing objectives.

Once I got a bit higher MMR it was a lot better imo.

I mean it's objective because imo the Amirdrassil sets were a banger, actually worth it to get most elite sets from them too 'cause they were so awesome. Unlike TWW s1 were most elite sets besides mage and druid got the worst colours this time haha.

I guess the problems are high q times, leavers (and the fact you dont even get a mount progression % if someone leaves) and the fact that there seems to be an elo hell if you unlucky at the start (I never had problems with getting enough rating for the elite pieces but a friend of mine was stuck forever on 1,4k on her kitty).

I'm really hoping they build battleground blitz with leavers and people who threw games in mind tbh.

Well, however you do it, people will complain. If elite set get the best or lore relevant colours (f.e. evokers set for dragonflight s3) people will complain, and if you literally use lfr colours people will also complain. I guess the best solution would be to just create a seasonal pvp renown with a coin that you can get once a season that can be used on either one old elite set or gladiator mount - that way people can get stuff they missed out on without being able to catch up (since you would be limited to one per season per bnet account). With that people wouldn't need to complain if elite sets are the "best looking ones" since they can farm them later on, while people who play during the season get rewarded since you won't be able to get everything if you don't play while it's current.

Yea I do wish that we could earn the old elite sets at least. You can go and farm all the old mythic sets pretty easy why can’t we do the same for PvP?

But I do gotta say the priest PvP set for season 1 isn’t bad, I just wish we got a void recolor for it. I mean rogues got a void recolor for both PvP & Mythic so why not.

Wait times, bad mmr/rating calculation, overall bad pvp design and balance... Solo shuffle is also about bullying the lowest geared/skilled player so when you get a round with him, you know you'll probably loose that round. When the weak link isna healer, you know it'll probably be a tie of 3 won and 3 lost.

The main problem with elite sets is the fomo. You can always get mythic sets later on, and even just playing heroic/m+ in DF. They should make past elite sets available for anyone who gets the rating at any given season, like the seasonal pvp mount.

There’s the issue why she struggled then. Feral offers pretty much nothing in an organised BG capacity. Would have had better luck climbing in arena.

And the weird thing was that I climbed to my rating within like 6-10 matches while she farmed the mount but basically stayed whole season at her lower one, because her mmr was low and she couldn't break out of that.

Might be skill issue but usually Blizzard gives rating inflation during the season so even if you just 3-3 the whole time you *should* gain rating down the line instead of being stuck in an elo hell 'cause of your initial games.

Probably. By it's nature they're going to want to boost numbers for that.

The main problem with elite sets is the fomo. You can always get mythic sets later on, and even just playing heroic/m+ in DF. They should make past elite sets available for anyone who gets the rating at any given season, like the seasonal pvp mount.

So many amazing sets, lost forever. Probably a bunch of people that don't know that WoD S1 had a unique appearance for all the elite sets, not just a recolour of the Elite set. And given the expansion is both old, and the expansion was generally not very popular, not a whole bunch of reason to ever expect being able to see it again outside Model Viewer.

But the Northrend Nerubians are all dead besides a very small amount who are currently re-breeding (and will surely re-connect once we liberate the ones from Khaz Algar). I doubt we will fight Nerubians in Northrend again, and having another major renown for them so soon after TWW would also feel a bit weird, wouldn't it?

Edit: We also know from Threads of Fate that Nerubians seem to grow a bit faster than humans so having a small faction of them there will defo happen, but I doubt we will fight them again, or get another Nerubian raid tier.

I think Nerubians as a major player in TLT is inevitable because of their model update here, in fact it's probably why they were chosen instead of Qiraji.

It could just be the Kaheti coming with us (playable Ascended?) to help deal with whatever is currently left in Northrend. However, last we saw, we helped them free the area and they started laying eggs, so it may be normal again.

I don't think we'll get a whole Nerubian zone as it will be too close to AK, but it depends on what happens to Dragonblight, which I suspect will get drastically altered (cave-in, melted, etc)

If Iridikron fucks with the geography there to get revenge on the Aspects it could turn into a zone where the Wyrmrest pillar goes down into the ground and merges with the Nerubian area.

Ideas like this just amplify how happy I am with how they treated Iridikron with a plot pivot in mind mid-Dragonflight. They saw his potential and shelved him for the time being. I really think we'll get a Titan kiler out of him.

I think he was just talking about the whole saga as a whole.

Ideas like this just amplify how happy I am with how they treated Iridikron with a plot pivot in mind mid-Dragonflight. They saw his potential and shelved him for the time being. I really think we'll get a Titan kiler out of him.

While he has alarming chance of being the C plot that is quickly dealt with ie Xavius in Legion, he definitely fits a Northrend expansion, arguably moreso than Dragonflight.

TWW and Worldsoul Saga kinda picks up where we left in Legion and that's the expansion Metzen last worked on, so I'd say he did worked on.

I got feeling from reveal that Saga was mainly Metzen baby. Personally I think Khaz Algar and Xalatath as villain were already planned as expansion (maybe Avaloren planned for 12.0?), then Metzen came with Saga idea and return to old zones for Midnight and Last Titan.
