lol they didn't even do a promotional cinematic for gamescom. The budget is clearly being cut, I wouldn't be surprised if CGI is abandoned in the next expansions.
Well, Every Cinematic has some heroic fantasy action going on. MoP had Chen toing with the Horde/Alliance soldiers, WoD had Grom fight of Mannoroth, Legion had Varians attack on Broken Shore, BfA had the Horde&Alliance both rallying up, SL had Sylvanas and Bolvar fight, DF had Watcher Koranos make a heroic attempt at climbing the pillar and fixing the orb.
The Cinematics we have seen sofar for TWW, not a single one has that heroic fantasy moments. The earthen dude hammers, Farin armors up, Orwyna dances, the Nerubian concocts a potion and simple Xal smirk. There is something missing. These seem more like 4 distinct short stitched together and more akin to the Covenant cinematic for SL.

There are a lot of cinematics. And since SL we had two different cinematics.
SL had The King and the Queen as their main cinematic, but also the Beyond the Veil cinematic
DF had Dragon Isles as their main cinematic, but also the Take to the Skies cinematic
TWW sofar has only the Shadows Beneath cinematic which is more similar to the Beyond the Veil and Take to the Skies cinematics.
Currently the Anduin&Thrall Cinematic is listed as the TWW one, but that feels more like a cinematic for the Saga then specifically for TWW.
That's beginning of expansion stuff though. Dalaran gets blown up at the beginning of TWW. That's not my argument.
My argument is that, if we lose at the end of TWW, likely when Xal'atath is by Azeroth, then everything is fucked. I expect us not to 100% win maybe, but I don't expect Xal'atath to win either.
I don't believe in miracle cinematic on Thursday. If it existed, it would have been shown right away
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
It doesn’t matter whether it’s the beginning of the expansion or not. Us losing at the end of an expansion to the main villain does not mean the death of the WoW universe. If we can lose at the start, then we can lose at the end. The order is irrelevant. “That’s beginning of expansion stuff though” makes no sense and holds no weight. If the writers want us to lose to Xal’atath, that can and will happen. It doesn’t mean the game will end.

What an absurd take. We've already had 2 CGI cinematics, a rendered in-engine trailer, a 2D short and a fully animated short too. The budget couldn't be higher.

The Anduin and Thrall cinematic was the TWW cinematic.

It's like people are desperately looking for reasons to be disappointed.
