Honestly, I think it's a good thing. WoW narrative issue is that there's always one person commanding the rest of the team, regardless of how lore accurate/good their ideas are.
Really? I always got the too many cooks vibe and the impression I got from Metzen was that he was bringing just enough guidance to make them more cohesive without being overbearing

So how is this "the feminist expansion"? Throughout the story, Alleria constantly loses, and Moira doesn't even do anything significant.

Don't get me wrong, i'm glad Magni is finally not the annoying speaker of Azeroth. But, that last line:

    Earthen: "who am i?"
Magni: "whoever you want to be"

Is just cringy external-game affairs thrusted into the story and atmosphere.

The cinematic was well made, i agree.
But, this is just more of Dragonflight with a different setting: The power of friendship, powerful females and fragile males.

Alleria isn't the best Archer, is she? I've just finished the Hallowfall storyline and she missed every single arrow she fired up to now.

While I agree that that line is quite cringe, I fail to see the link to the external-game affairs.

What else would you say to a robot that just became free of its programing and edicts?

It feels like some people decided to turn off their cognitive thinking on purpose...

What part of someone being able to choose what they want to be is offensive to you?

They really need to stop worfing major lore characters to justify the player having something to do.

Khadgar returning as an Ethereal sounds really dope, even for just a moment to help us one last time.

But man, the Dark Heart has quite a ridiculous amount of buildup for a MacGuffin that now I wish they've used the Xal'atath knife instead. Though, it does look like something that is begging to be placed in front of a light beam. I wonder if it'll be used in summoning the void through the Sunwell.

I do like the story and the Arathi and Hallowfall is super interesting imo.

And, I think the Bronzebeards are doing great. Moira is booming. The cinematic was nice, too see the dwarves more close up than ever in a decent quality was good.

Hallowfall is...fine? Definitely the best new zone, but I don't think it holds a candle to Revendreth or any of the BFA zones.

Khadgar returning as an Etheral would be quite an interesting turn of events.

Is this even lore friendly? How Etherals came to be in the first place?

Man, I actually love the robotic way the Earthen speak.

Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

I guess that depends. Did they become ethereals simply because they were irradiated in high amounts of void and arcance energies or was there something innately unique to their species that acted like a catalyst for their transformation.

Personally I hope they don't go that direction. Ethereals are already pretty unique in WoW and don't need to be watered down further. If they get heavily featured in Midnight or TWW, hopefully their own K'areshi culture is the focus and not Khadgar inserting himself.

The Theater Troupe event is 100% into beta mode, completely broken

"Alleria is the greatest Archer, you dont know what your talking about" said some one in the dark..

There we have it! It must be that weird eye shadow that started to slide in her eye. Right?

Dimensius tore reality around Ka'resh apart, opening portals to the TN and the Void.
Flooding the place with Arcane and Void energy.

The flood of Arcane energy shredded the Ethereals physical bodies but infused them with enough power to subsist without one.

But that's pre-chronicle lore, from the CDev days.
A flood of *Arcane* magic from the cosmological Fel energy realm makes little sense these days.

That said, i was thinking more in line of the Forge of the Guardian being responsible for that.
Or idk, Medivh finding out he died and went ahead to scoop up his soul from the eldritch goop and turn him into one.
Or maybe even Locus Walker being responsible.

Like what? Robots gaining independent thinking? Just like Data from Star Trek, for example? Are you new with sci-fi?

    Please, do tell what alludes.

She didn't ask what her purpose is. She asked "who am i?", which the answer to that is "Earthen". Not Furbolg, not Gnome, Earthen. It is quite simple.

This is kind of an interesting point.

Xal nukes Dalaran, all the unstable arcane energy is absorbed by Khadgar because Guardian reasons or something, void nuke sends him to the Nether where he finds Medivh or Locus Walker or Karesh or insert here.

See the cinematic again. "What... Who am I?", a robot just became sentient after millenia of following one edict only.

And Earthen are so many things, as the entire expansion hammers over and over.
