Just finished it myself, but i find complaining about that cutscene pretty silly.

I get Blizzard likes to make their characters really incompetent to justify continuing the plot, but in this particular case Xal deliberately baited her into shooting to reveal herself.

And she didn't even miss, the arrow went through Xals void mist, she just teleported away.

She missed every single arrow before, it's ridiculous.

The 3 times her shooting was hightlighted was in Dalaran, where she missed.
At the Dawntower, where she killed every single cultist except for Aleric.

and the final Azj'kahet cutscene which i just described the context for.

So again, i find this sentiment pretty silly and made in bad faith.

    It's not bad faith, she's a Voidtrooper.

Her missing is not the problem. Her acting like an idiot is.

If we are being accurate she is not missing. Xal'athat is just using evasion constantly. But those arrows would have hit their mark otherwise

Anyone figured out where the Hallowfall gear drops from? Just noticed it and the plate one looks sick so I'd like to get it but doesn't seem like my main has acquired any even though I finished the campaign.

Because you aren't made of fire. The entire zone hammers exactly what they worship.

And these are the more open version due to their situation, their empire is supposedly much more dogmatic about it.

    It's adventurer gear.
So weekly caches, Delve key coffers, select items at renown quartermasters, some rare drops and the occassional world quest.

They'll be more regularly available once season 1 starts.

I think it's safe to say that the Arathi Empire is on Avaloren. Question is if they will have a présence in the WSS or afterwards.

Still hoping that Midnight is a revamp for everything above the Thandol Span, I don't think so though, And the Arathi reclaim their original homeland.

Hallowfall peeps keep talking about some prophecised final confrontation against darkness, so it could indicate Midnight. I would rather prefer it to be a setting beyond WSS
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

My guess, or at least hope, is that the Arathi Empire will be teased further in Midnight as someone the Scarlet Crusade are eager to meet. After all, their goals seem to be somewhat aligned in that the Arathi Empire are xenophobic, and the Scarlet Crusade traces its claims back to the nobility of the original Kingdom of Arathi.

I believe the Arathi expedition are the ones said to fight in Renilash, not the Arathi empire as a whole.
The world revamp dream will never die!

I think the WSS is much intended to be a reframing of the cosmic conflict. Less abstract and disconnected entities like we saw in SL but more tangible factions ultimately centered around Azeroth.

So I am hoping TWW/MN is just beginning of their story arc.

Ringing Deeps fully completed. Better than expected. I was not very interested in this zone but it is pretty good. Kobolds are fun. The Void Dwarves (Skardyn) are actually very cool and the Life theme is very strong in this zone .

I will start Hallowfall tonight, which is the zone that I am more excited about. If the questing experience keeps the level of the two first zones, TWW will have the best questing experience of any expansion, and is not even close. IMO making a more focused campaign and lots of optional side quests is (for now) a HUGE win. In such way the main campaign is more enjoyable and if side quests are this good, we may have a recipe for success here.

Also, being able to do dungeons with AI feels soooo good for the questing experience. There are a LOT of details (the digging animation of Kobolds is pretty funny, for example) and extra conversations worth your attention.

Exactly that, not sure where the "missing" part came from. Xal'atath literally dodges or vaninshes from place, I assume, due to her powers? Still, she didn't miss
