Azeroth's Worldsoul will either be the final thing we come across this expansion, and protecting it is the theme of Midnight, or it'll be found in Midnight.

Kind of using your idea of Undermine as a mega dungeon, I kind of envisioned our visit to the Worldsoul as the raid. An Antorus of sorts.

I don't doubt that the two can't happen at the same time, but I truly wonder if we would ever see Undermine goblins without going to Undermine.

Without them doing a Nazjatar + Mechagon style patch, I wonder if there could be a situation where Orwenya rather raises her concern to us about the operation of the Goblins in Khaz Algar and Gazlowe (who is already in the process of rehabilitating the image of Goblins in a post Gallywix structure) decides to ask us to join him in visiting Undermine to make his case on Orwenya's behalf to the cartels. Upon visiting, we of course uncover something a tad bit more sinister in the works. Hypothetically some goblins repairing the dark heart, maybe interacting with brokers, etc. etc.

We do our thing there, and in our big act of heroism aiding Orwenya, she makes her big move of abandoning her own edicts and exposing her society and it's purpose to us, as she realizes we are all children of Azeroth and Elun'ahir was a gift for us all. Queue patch into the Rootlands where the black blood is infecting the very same roots which also happen to penetrate the chamber of the world soul, threatening us all.

Or something like that idk. I just really would like Undermine as a patch. I'm spit balling here guys.

* "EarthWarden" will be the new specialization of the Shaman, who will be a Tank. The team hinted at the Follower Dungeon scheme with a Tank Shaman, but they didn't want to show anything yet to create content for a future patch.
* Xal'latah will show some traces of N'zoth's essence with her.
* World revamp starting, slowly, but adjusting some things for future patches and expansions.
* The 3 Expansions will receive new classes, but only TWW didn't receive them at launch.

While I wouldn't give much credit to this leak because of the the 3 new classes, I find it pretty funny that Blizzard releases a set of dices when it doesn't have anything close related to DnD / RPGs anymore.

I'm not sure if this is just a reference to some art contest thing, but maybe we'll get (Red) Pandapeople in Rootlands? Just seems weird to introduce a new species as a pet only.

Maybe kyparite too. The kypari trees in Townlong Steppes are pretty big, their roots could have made it to a worldsoul crystal too.

That's not a 'swirly root pattern', that's the same cloud swirlies that you see across Pandaria, as well as every other pop culture depiction of chinese art.

The pet is gonna be a lunar new years reward, just like the firework rocket mount and the lunar festival set.

I doubt it. I think the "ite" suffix is just for minerals. Unless pyrite is also blood-related.

It'd be kinda wild if the Earthen can't repair the Coreway and we can't find another entry point under Khaz Algar, but the goblins managed to expand enough of Undermine that some old back alley of the city crossed paths with either a cave or Titan ventilation shaft near the World Soul.

Kypari trees somehow being offshoots of Elune and Eonar's original world tree would be a great way to link old and new lore.

Maybe? I had a theory like this:

The Goblins attack the Harronir's home in 11.1, and the attack at the main area is the raid. During the 11.1 questline, Orweyna's adventure from 11.0.7 leads to her going to Kezan, namely the Undermine, where she finds the Goblins there are planning to enter Azeroth's Worldsoul from a secret, unique passage. We go to the Undermine, stop the mining process there, and learn that the Goblins (Namely Gallywix) made a bargain with Xal'atath, in exchange for power, wealth, and fame.

Then, after the whole ordeal at the Undermine, we struggle to find another passageway into Azeroth's Worldsoul, which would lead us to 11.1.7, where we figure out that the Undersea has a unique, dark passage into Azeroth's Worldsoul, but no one's ever ventured there before (Could have it to where not even the Titans ventured this deep into the world as well, but idk). So, for 11.2, we venture deep within the Undersea, and enter a unique, mysterious zone that's not shrouded by water or so. And from that zone, we go to the final raid of the expac.

Makes sense for them to be a Lunar Festival reward along with the recently datamined transmog.

But also I kinda wish they'd turn out to be Pandaren ancestors that we find in the Rootlands.

Saronite - the blood of Yogg-Saron, corrupts things around his domain in the northeast of Kalimdor.

Kajamite - the blood found around Ulduar and in abundance in the South Seas, particularly in the lava tunnels underneath Mount Kajaro.

Plot twist:

Yogg-Saron slew his sister, the one depicted on the mural in Azj-Kahet.

She was prior to that embedded within the hollow earth underneath Undermine, Khaz Algar, etc.

Her blood trail could be found all the way from Khaz Algar to Northrend.

The Goblins appeared around Northrend and became smart because of the Kajamite. Then they made their way south and settled on Mount Kajaro, due to the massive amount of Kajamite found nearby.

Over time, the Kajamite dwindled. They needed more. Ever deeper they went.

Until they found something which was never meant to be found. Now, the Goblins of Undermine have fallen to a peculiar corruption. Something from below influences them. Compels them to seek out Khaz Algar, and find Elun'Ahir.

To tap into the roots, and revive the fallen Old God.

That interestingly falls in line with a story from a novel involving a Goblin miner digging too deeply beneath Undermine and encountering a void entity;

They could have merged the undermine and rootlands patch es planned while Danuser was still there, so we get a new final patch planned by Metzen to better link the TWW finale with Midnight/The World Soul Saga.

Interesting to see that Siren Isle will experiment with a "hard mode" of sorts that prevents flying. Hopefully it's a success so it can be replicated across the entire world later. So much content that feels wasted when you just skip over it ignoring everything.
