The hood at least is a variant of a new set of items coming to the Trading Post. This time you can get hoods with masks (or without the mask, as you see in that).

Assuming the shoulders are new shoulder capes too.

The Trading Post really does just seem to be the excuse the designers have been itching for. Finally allowing them to make all kinds of transmog that is either too simple to work anywhere, like these shoulders and masks. Or too out there, like the beach themed set we got two months ago.

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with the Trading Post, honestly. Even if the only things that month are like the hoods/shoulder capes, there's something in it I'm looking forward to, and its a way to earn things without having to pay through the in-game shop. Some good stuff in there.

That they're making new hoods (I'm not 100% on the masks for some but I'm sure there's some rocking good transmog you can make with them) and items makes me hopeful for the future.

So I just finished the weekly quest and it gave a lore drop. This wasn't even part of the main campaign. Interesting, I wonder if we'll keep getting these every week. Also makes me wonder if you can miss out on this info if you don't do a week.

Anduin probably does more in a month than even most active people in first world countries do in a year. He hardly even has time to sit down.

    1. shes a fragment of the 5th
    2. all old gods were originally 1 being
There is no 5th, it's nothing more than a community made rumour. I mean yes, new old gods can enter the world from the The Dark Beyond but the void energies of them entering the atmosphere would of been detected upon entry so it that rumour just needs killing off.

Old Gods are generally accompanied by a C'Thraxxi - Yogg had Vezax, G'huun had Myrthrax, N'Zoth had the Dragon Soul raid fella and the world Boss in Stormsong Valley - The list can go on but the point is made there's literally zero breadcrumbs to go off to suggest there is actually a 5th.

    from chronicles

This is breadcrumb enough for most to keep the theory running. At least shows Blizzard wanted to keep the idea available

    Not a community-made rumor.

There’s actually a book in-game you can find in DF (forbidden reach I think) that mentions 5 old gods.

    The quote from the book.
The Pantheon shattered the Old Gods' citadels and chained the five evil gods far beneath the surface of the world. Without the Old Gods' power to keep their raging spirits bound to the physical world, the elementals were banished to an abyssal plane, where they would contend with one another for all eternity. With the elementals' departure, nature calmed, and the world settled into a peaceful harmony. The Titans saw that the threat was contained and set to work.

<A note has been scribbled on the page.>
Fools! The power of the elements was not so easily contained. Nor could they bind the influence of the Old Gods. The "peace" the titans offered came only through oppression.

Back in October I was speculating that Avaloren will be original place of Xalatath old god body. Nice to see this theory back in some form. Even if she isn't old god, there is still question why rest put her in knife.

If she was old god, there is also thing about N'zoth - he was struck by (empty) knife too, we know he's a schemer and interration with him in DF was pretty strange.

I mean, he captured Azshara but left the dagger with her as an oversight? That whole plot point makes no sense unless he was deliberately trying to get into the dagger.

Which given the void sees all outcomes, it would make sense if it was his only chance to survive.

There's still the question of why he didn't just take it from Azshara and put it somewhere we couldn't get to. He had plenty of opportunity of keeping it from us, but chose to just leave it. And he certainly knows what it is, given that he was the one to release Xal'atath from it.

Also I'll add, the mural you can see in the final chamber of the City of Threads dungeon matches the 5th Old God C'thulhu look perfectly.

Could also explain all the leaves around it in chronicle - given the old god’s proximity to the roots of Elun’ahir.

He is by all a counts the person who ensured it was given to Azshara to begin with.
The quest has him demand he gets to keep the empty dagger. After which the Horde player feels compelled by the Old God power to bring it to Sylvanas.

It isn't even that out there. The logical explanation for what happened is that he changed the dagger to somehow prevent his death.

Frankly, having it not be some sort of plan would create much bigger plotholes than it being wholly intentional, which would fit just fine with his supposed role as a manipulator.

I genuinely believe we're getting a Return to Draenor expansion after the Worldsoul saga that adds playable Ogres and possibly Arrakoa. Plus deals with the Y'rel thread.

I’d be surprised if the expansion after TLT isn’t a world revamp
