It's not really the kind of cinematic Blizzard makes for sure. But I think it could work. Just make it Gallywix recounting how the meeting went in his mind, followed by showing the absolutely deplorable conditions the Goblins are actually in.
Would fit both the zany Goblin aesthetic, without having to downplay how sinister Xal'atath and her dealings actually are.
The world revamp dream will never die!
This is actually a good call. Very reminiscent of Denathrius' speech for Revandreth in the Shadowlands cinematic, but you're right, Blizzard's angle would be a narration from the PoV of a character like Gallywix.
I still think that the best segue into Undermine for Xal'atath is using the Venture Co/Gallywix/Darkfuse whatever in reforging the Dark Heart just as they did the Dragon Soul. Open that up however you want, but that's going to be the bridge in some way I believe.
Another thing to point out-- have we discussed the "Woldclaimed Freysworn" NPCs/objects around the Isle of Dorn? There's very little to understand about them other than the fact they're a very devout group that seems to follow the edicts with an additional clause the Oathsworn do not abide by. There's one that's alive that begins to tell us about it, but cuts themselves short, implying they've learned about this additional edict from others. It seeeeeems like they may have had some interaction with the Haranir and Freya both, which brought forth this new edict? Aside from the non-interactable NPCs and a book or two, there's not much else about them, which leads me to believe a Rootlands patch would cover them as well (and Earthen druids?).
Venture Co are treated rather normally this expac, save for the ones we fight in the Meadery. I assume they will be our ally renown in Undermine, letting us work with Gallywix (who despite being a bad dude isn't a straight villain), and the Darkfuse Company will be the villains due to their set up in the campaign and the name having ties to both the Void and the Blackfuse Company (who were the goblins who influenced Garrosh's True Horde and Iron Horde)
The goblins making the Dragon Soul is too clever of a tie-in to this expansion for them to pass it up, and seeing as the Dark Heart is in need of repairs right now I assume this is the next major patch with the Haranir being the finale.

Not to bad I would say. There are atleast some more visuals.
I'd rather they actually made her do something useful for once.
And i know her kids are a point of contention, but with Blizzard setting up the next generation of characters and half elves no longer being this all hated thing with the addition of the Arathi, i think its time to introduce them as proper characters.

I have a feeling they purposefully ignored Vereesa because she will be a huge part of Midnight due to the "elf reunion" pointing towards the Quel'dorei being a focal point. But because story twitter whined we will be getting a cameo.
I wouldn't be surprised if the main cast of Midnight is actually very different and that is why they are being specific with what characters appear in TWW. Would be a nice change up and help keep people from being fatigued like they were with Sylvanas, Anduin and Tyrande being spammed for six years.
In what way? If this is a "yeah they gave us Dark Ranger customization but now if I use anything other than this new hero spec that didn't exist 6 months ago I will never be happy" post, just stuff it. And I say that as a Dark Ranger stan. The amount of entitlement from people who counterintuitively play survival & RP Dark Rangers is infuriating.
Any idea what those earthquakes in the Delves are? You also get an emote message when they happen.

Ummm, this character power is here to stay for three expansions AT LEAST. And even if they take away Hero Talents after WSS is done, I really doubt they will also take away all of these cool visuals people got used to.
And a lot of SL stuff got carried over to DF, anyway.

Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
sigh. I mean, waht if someone doesn't like to play dark ranger, because of the visuals, but it is far stronger power wise. Same issue as with covenants.
Most classes did it better where it focused on a niche of the class.
For example shaman you can have a focus on totems, ancestors or spells, but this is just so far off the hunter fantasy that it would suck if this was the best if you were a night elf player for example.
